OT: GOLF

Just so I’m clear we all agreed to cheer for Phil at Pebble right?

As far as Tiger I think he’s gonna have a chance any week he’s got his driver working. He still plays smarter than everyone. More clutch than everyone. Better iron player than everyone. He slapped his driver all over the map at the Open and PGA last year and still got in contention. Driver was solid at Augusta. Still sprayed a few but managed to escape those mostly. Actually made quite a few birds from the gallery.
This x a billion

except cheering for Phil part

For those that aren’t stud golfers like @Denim Vest and @Van Gorstache

Do y’all ever have those moments where your swing has become absolute trash, and then you take the winter off ready to give up the game forever, but then you tweak a couple of things, and then youre reeled back in again?

Hit the hole in one last year and then it was like I forgot how to do anything athletic. Finally starting to strike the ball well again now though and I’m back hooked

Subtle hole in one reference.

I’m usually the opposite. Play pretty good after a few months off over the winter. Have like one round where everything clicks then I tweak my swing to oblivion thinking I’ll improve and the driver goes to shit around September. When the driver goes fvk it I’m done.

A friend lifted this off the boog bored and sent it to me today.

BAH GAWD how can anyone be around Tiger for more than 30 seconds and not die of radiation poisoning from the dickheat?

Props to Tony Romo for beating Jonathan Byrd, Smylie Kaufman and a few others, and matching J J Henry at +8 this weekend in Dallas. Not a great score and a MC, but still a nice reminder of what he could’ve accomplished if he had concentrated on this sport for his entire life.

Gawd he looks so frumpy. Meanwhile my boy Kirby got to play in the Regions with the coolest dude on the planet not named Bruuce. Wish my old ass could figure out how to post the pics.

I would settle for stays in contention. These young guys’ asses seem to tighten up when Tiger is prowling on Sunday.

Seen conflicting reports but apparently he skipped his practice session today. Anybody else seen or heard one way or the other?

They said he didn’t show up at the course yesterday on Golf Channel. Wanted to just chill on the yacht apparently get some extra rest.

Im a little flummoxed that the TV coverage doesn’t start till 1. As chance should have it working from home rest of the week guess I’ll watch on the app like a savage till then.

Robogolfer looking sharp early. Had to turn away from the app didn’t see whatever Tiger did to make double.

I didn't get settled in until the 11th but the announcer made reference to it being a rare tactical error and was very surprised.

Haven’t been reading about anything this week, but is the course in condition to where over par is a decent score like it’s been a previous tournaments at Bethpage

O/u is -8 for winning score so it’s not that crazy. Long and rough is up but greens are relatively soft. Not much wind. Could have a round a couple over and still be in it but guys are gonna be under par. 10th is one of the toughest holes on the course.

Tiger has to get that 80-90 yard distance under control...that's the second bad miss from that range. Very weird from the Master.

Of course I check the leaderboard and Koepka is -2. Hard to believe it was 17 years ago when Tiger won the open at this course. Jesus time flies
