Beyond this season, can he heal completely from this or is this like something that will definitely end his career someday?

never know, all depends on where the break occurred and how well his body heals ... there are so many bones in the foot and ankle, some of those break and never truly heal, soft tissue damage can be even more troublesome. Looking at the type of player he is and how he relies on his athleticism i'd say he'll never be the same, he can still be good but most likely not return to what he was.

Just by looking at his foot on tv immediately after the injury, I'd say he's going to have a long, tough recovery. I could tell more if I could see his x-rays. I'd say him never recovering at all is within the realm of possibility.

I’d like to think that modern medicine and the access and accountability he’ll have towards rehabbing it will get him back to 100% physically.

Sometimes people don’t truly recover from these things psychologically though. Maybe he’ll never trust his ankle like he once did. Maybe he’ll play tentatively bc he doesn’t want to experience that pain again. Who knows.

I have broken both ankles twice each. Never was the same after the first go round. The second on each seemed to happen very easily under little stress. Sucks for sure. I hope the kid heals up and gets back. Man I felt for him when he went down. Terrible. Good luck young fella.

Our not making the Final Four will lead to the rise of Nationalism in Canada, a breakdown in Free Trade, worldwide Depression, a bloody Civil War in China , a nuclear confrontation in Korea, and statist/Marxist takeover of most constitutional democracies

"The surgery went extremely well," Pearl said. "Prior to the surgery the doctors were talking about four to six months (until McLemore returns), and after the surgery we're talking about four months. It went that well."
