OT: LAMP story about my brother's best friend/teammate that is an UFA now with the Rams.

My brother plays QB at a D2 school in Oklahoma and met codey last year. He had an interesting route. He went to a very small school and played baseball only. He got drafted by the Braves and was in their system for a few years playing Shortstop. He's like 6'7" or so and they told him he was too tall to play short but he said until he gets beat out he will still play. So he made decent money while knowing he would get beat out eventually but stayed as long as he could.
Then he walked on to Oklahoma State basketball and made it. Funny enough my brother and I saw him (we didn't know him at the time) when we went and watched an Auburn basketball game against OSU and he was on their bench.
Then he went to southeastern Oklahoma where my brother plays and was just walking along campus where the football coach spotted him. He asked codey if he ever played football and he said no but the coach invited him to walk on any way. He did and did very well. Well he got contacted by a bunch of teams and worked out for the Seahawks, cowboys, Ravens and Rams and went to the Rams yesterday.

He's as big as gronk is and athletic so he has a chance to make it if he works hard. TLDR my Bros best friend/teammate in now in the NFL after playing one season of football his entire life.

That’s pretty cool. Pro football really is the only sport where you can make it as a pro with basically zero experience. Just be a tough jumbo athlete and you can learn the skills as you go. Can’t think of another sport like that
