When I had Facebook I would block all content from bama folks because every post had rtr in it or complaing about auburn. Other than that I’ve always ignored the other crap. Do it in person too. I will walk away if things get political or Godly.
Everyone has become insufferable
i tried to swap hosts, but new host wouldn't let me just take over all my existing feeds, so my old feed with all the episodes got removed from Apple. Which sucks because i had gotten some subscribers/likes/reviews on that one. I stopped recording during corona because too many people were coming out with stuff and the world seemed to have collectively lost its sense of humor for the last 5 months. But planning on coming out soon once i resolve the new host stuff

I think I just made a mistake. Anchor has an option to move it there from another host but I think i needed to do that process before cancelling the other subscription podbean. Podbean basically scrubbed my whole account as soon as I click cancel. Didn’t give a refund for the time remaining either
I was just randomly thinking about this bc we’re about to change things. But dont you have all your episodes on YouTube? You could just extract the audio and upload it on your new site. Doesn’t solve the lost subscribers bit but it’s better than completely starting over
Oh yeah, I have all the audio files. I keep my audacity files too where I did the editing. My main concern is just getting people to go find the new link. Feel like I broke the main rule of having a podcast, don’t make people have to find your podcast again after they are familiar with it

Hope this makes you feel better. But I requested my hosting site to change my podcast URL and then went ahead and changed the rss feed too. So I just lost all our subscribers as well. And now i'm having an annoying as fugg issue with itunes
Makes you realize why companies want to get you on an email list. Then you could just email everyone with new location. Otherwise, there’s no good way to let people know that had been listening
It’s just annoying like I’m sure u dealt with too. I specifically asked them questions about the affects of changing my url and RSS feed and they just changed both without asking. I almost guarantee they wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t have a yearly subscription instead of monthly
