Second OT of the day. Are people actually surprised that the NBA Finals are down, viewer wise, when they are competing against the MLB playoffs, College football, and the NFL on any given day?? I think people are trying too hard right now. How many people TRULY cared about the NBA before they hated them now for political reasons??

I will say, I did go back and look, and I was wrong. You never said Avery was better Bruce. You were just rustled because you didn't think the Bunker was giving Avery enough credit because he won 67 games in the regular season that one time
So while you defended Avery, it wasn't due you thinking he was better.

I never said anything more than an Elite Eight appearance wasn’t as big a deal as 68ish wins in the NBA, which had been done 6 times when I posted....8 coaches go to the elite 8 every year. I’m pretty ****ing shocked you admitted what you did.

And I'd say an Elite 8 is a bigger feat than winning 67 regular season games, especially when you lose on the first round of the playoffs following 67 regular season wins.

Went through a toll booth today & asked the nice tolly lady what happens when she has to use the bathroom & she points to the outhouse, then I asks if she had a relief pitcher to keep the line moving. She ain’t laughed that hard since we were at a very nice cafe couple months ago. Waitress asks if I want the soup or salad & & I answer sure. She looks puzzled & I say “Yes, Super Salad works for me”. Wife trys to ignore what used to be funny to her until she just can’t help it.

The best PG I ever saw play Bball at Auburn died yesterday. Dude was tormented with demons and issues his entire life. But he was a bad ass basketball player on the court. RIP Eddie Johnson.
I thought about you posting about Fast Eddie here earlier this year when I saw this bad news. He was already gone to the Hawks before I ever got to school, but he was a dandy for sure.
