Raising Canes AND Zaxbys both sprang off from all my Guthrie buddies up here. Old Man didn’t want to franchise & the boys did & they went from having a jet & skybox to selling 10 locations in the HAM. Still viable enough to keep them all “fed”.

Maybe a tl;dr but still was in Tupelo today with Bam grad wife sporting crimson & I was in full Boog attire per usual. Go into a little eating establishment & the little redneck hostess makes a comment on us & gives the wife an RTR & I couldn’t let it go conversation follows.

well you see we had three pictures up & they were of Jesus, Bear Bryant & one of the family. when I was young I thought Bear was part of our family.

BUT SHE LOVED THE BEAR RIGHT?
of course she did. We all did.
Well by now she’s been at our table for five minutes & George’s wife was getting angry, so I let that one go. Then on to the mall to do more damage while the wife shopped. Today was a really great day for fishing & they never even knew they were in my boat. Pretty much feel like WE won the MNC last night.

Good stuff. I just finally read the book and Gennaro's character is a pretty good and complex one. He's actually less annoying in the book than Goldblum's character.

yeah. My friend is a huge fan of the big and is always telling me to read it. I just never get around to it.

I bought the book when I was 14 and I finally got around to reading it 20+ years later. Its like a 30-40% different story IMO. I like both the movie and book about the same.
Nothing will compare to seeing the movie the first time though.
Especially since it was like one of the first THX DTS surround sound movies or at least I remember it that way.
Not political, by why oh why will these legislators in Alabama not at least approve medical weed? Seeing stuff right now where they won’t give a man or woman any relief I’m mean who GAS?
