Let's get this party started now that this beautiful bracket has been finalized. Time for the Boogs to pick up their first Tourney SHIP since our old friend Sonny did this in 1985.

Pretty favorable draw for the boogs. I see a 3 seed coming down the pipe
We could not have asked for a better set up. We need Ws if we want to move up additional seed lines so a double bye would not have helped us in that regard. Play a team we should beat in UGA/Mizzou then face USCe who is drastically weaker than any other top 4 seed. Beat those assholes and then we probably get an LSU team that has to be in disarray. Beat them and we're likely a 3 seed. Very nice set up.

It’s the polar opposite of last year. Things are lining up for us as the year ends. I will be shocked if we don’t play til Sunday in the SECT. I also have high hopes for the NCAAT but I won’t talk too much shit about it until I see our draw. Blindly, I’m thinking three wins there is possible.

The good news is the two bluebloods of the sec won’t meet up till the championship. Hopefully we destroy that orange trash, if not I’ll be rooting for boogs nation to beat that ass again
Thanks brAUh. Your moral support through our tribulations this year has been noted and appreciated. Glad your Cats made the most of the big W over us in January and parlayed it into a run towards a 1 seed.

The cbb world certainly wants to see Boogs v Cats III for the title. We should be able to vanquish our first couple opponents with ease. Hopefully while getting Austin and role players some much needed mins and starters much needed rest.

Then LSU is obviously in the midst of program disaster and I’m just noticing they could play UF on Friday. Wouldn’t be a shock at all if UF wins that one. Even Arkansas has been playing decent they could get to Saturday.

Its a dream draw for us. Make it to Sunday and then let us hope we get a similarly bad ass draw as a 3 seed. I can smell the dirty snow in Minneapolis already.

I'm not sure LSU is gonna be distracted by the Wade stuff, but I think they are less dangerous if Smart is held out, which seems very possible.

It's a good draw. I just want us to be smart with our rotations and not overplay Harper/Brown/Chuma. We have to rotate and do it wisely. These studs don't need to play 37 minutes and come back 24 hrs late and face that goon squad from South Carolina.

Yeah I think you gotta try to cap our studs at 30 mins. Like to think they could play 25ish and still win on Thursday. Gotta play to win that one though. After that I’m resting them to some degree and let the chips fall where they may.

As far as Austin assuming he’s available would like to get him a handful of mins Thursday and maybe 10 Friday. Not sure he can even get out of bed 2 days in a row so maybe you shut him back down for the dance at that point. Or just have him for a token 3-5 mins.

Think we can put to bed any effort to run the offense through him. If he can run down there and get deep post position early in shot clock great. If not let him screen and get position for a drive and dish or a board. On D protect the rim, rebound dump a heavy elbow into a Grant Williams or the like.

Save him for Kentucky, or if we are getting killed on the boards against LSU. And only play him if he is going to fight through the pain and not do his best Mack McGadney impression with the old woman limp.

I think we might need him against South Carolina. He's the only one strong enough to not get bulldozed by Silva.

Would certainly be nice if we could run Mizzou/UGA out of the building in the first half and let our key guys take it easy in the 2nd.

Boogs have an excellent chance to win this tourney. I think it'll be a boogs/Tennessee final
Hopefully we come out and play solid tomorrow and put the game away fairly early. A confidence booster heading into the rematch with USCe would be big. They are a bad matchup for us, but they are also a shit team. Need to shoot the ball well and have Chuma continue his strong run to knock them out.

I decided to get outta the office for a couple of days, so why not go to The Basketball Center of the Universe, home of Elvis & the Delta Blues. About to go find me a basketball fundrinkery & catch the first night of the Blueblood Invitational. Glad to have the other 12 cellar dwellers join UK & the Boogs. Let the Madness begin.
Thanks to the sec having to bluebloods, we’re likely to get 8 or 9 teams in. Most schools aren’t blessed to have two bluebloods to practice against before the tournament starts

And naturally we are in two different brackets as we should be. Of course the 2015 bracket had us playing in the semis, because the conference was doing what it could to try & have the KATS finish perfect that year, as they surely should have. That’s just what Bluebloods do for one another.

No, they have a date with destiny in the championship game against the other blueblood of the sec

I actually like the matchup better with Missouri than UGA. Gotta deal with the ultimate try-hard in Jordan Geist (I don’t hate him because I was that type of player in HS) and can’t let Tillmon control the boards. But they don’t seem to have the firepower/potential that UGA has but rarely shows. Plus UGA is big and long as fvck, which always gives us problems.

How cunzo Martin keeps a job, is like trying to figure out why Bruce hasn’t ran for president yet. But are completely confusing.

The thing with Mizzou, is, how many of your best players will go out of the game with injuries? Every time I watch them, they cripple a guy on the other team. Mizzou is a trash team with trash fans. And Geist... I wish somebody would "accidentally" break his jaw. Be safe and healthy, boogs
