OT - Why are there so few stud lefthanded QBs?

Because lefties are superior and play baseball instead of getting their head bashed in playing huthut.
Hell yes. Fun fact SPIETH is left handed. So are quite a few studs on the Boog BASKETBALL team.
After Steve Young in the NFL, is it Michael Vick and no one else? Help me out ouldes. Matt Leinart and Chris Simms sucked in the league
@Denim Vest is right. Left-handed arms are super valuable in baseball as pitchers, and to a lesser extent, 1st basemen, but also the spin is different from lefty QBs, and is harder for WRs to catch, until they get used to it. I remember Stan White making a big deal out of it when Brandon Cox made his first start back in 2005.
A lot of lefties are forced to Bat, Play golf, play guitar right handed. Because it is easier for the instructor and equipment is cheaper. A lot of lefties are borderline ambidextrous.
This has me thinking now. I was good at baseball and completely awful at golf. Maybe I need to start golfing lefthanded and see where it takes me
Golf is mental and form and not trying to kill the ball. The last one always got me. I see it and want to do more than just make contact. Not enough discipline on my part. Plus it is a rich man's sport.
I'd imagine a lot play baseball. Our qb in high school was left handed. Got some d3 offers for football but was a D1 pitcher.
I'd also guess that most lower level coaches don't know how to deal with a left handed qb so some of them are weeded out early and never get a chance. And by the time they're in HS, they're playing another position
