Gus is gonna get fired when we lose to LSU and UGA by a combined 50 points with an elite defense.

Who's out there and what should we do. Personally I say just put together a list of up and coming coordinators, pay steele 5 mil to stay on as DC, and get a guy on a short contract while we look for a proven winner.

I just don't wanna hear anybody in the media say Gus doesn't deserve the hot seat. He apparantely loves it because he always shits the bed any time he has a chance of getting off it. Saturday and the SEC championship game against Georgia are two prime examples of getting off the hot seat with a win and he takes a massive dump right in the middle of the bed instead

Gus ain’t going nowhere - I still think we’ve got a chance against UGA at home, but LSU and BAMA are looking ug-ly

either way, just expect him to stay and if he gets shitcanned it’s a welcome surprise... if he survives, then he gets to sleep in the bed he made next year with completely new OL and DL and getting prison sexed by BAMA and UGA on the road to run his ass out of town for good

I've met Cristobal, and he was refreshingly candid. Would be a breath of fresh air in comparison to Gus. Nerd's paranoia is tiresome.

It’s hard to discuss head coaches without knowing what kind of staff they can build... if they can’t hire coaches to recruit and develop elite units on both lines, then melt them off the list

if they’re not willing to consistently add to their scheme and philosophy on both sides of the ball and adjust over time, they shouldn’t be anywhere near this job

Auburn is on the shortlist of schools that can consistently compete for 10-11 win seasons, and give themselves a shot at championships every 5-6 years... I don’t expect titles - but simple competence will be rewarded more than our fanbase recognizes

we don’t need to hire a “genius” - we just need a guy who is smart enough to know what he doesn’t know and humble enough to adapt... we’ve never had a guy like that in my lifetime, so I have no delusions that anyone involved in the decision making process even understand this very simple truth - but if we ever hire that guy and get out of his way, people will be shocked at how easy this is and wonder what took so long
