Having played a game already in this gym is a plus for us going into tomorrow’s game.

I do like our shooters getting the range in the place. Hopefully that explain going from 11.8% from 3 in the first half to almost 60% in the 2nd half.

I guess Martin will overplay us beyond the 3 point line again, daring us to drive. I didn't feel like we were ready for that at the time but have seen enough of it now we do drive and kick a lot more. That first game vs USCe we'd drive into 4 players and force a shot up.

On the other end its all Silva. Firs thing is we can't foul him. We have to keep him off the FT line. He's unlikely to get 30 points with 4 FTs'. He gets it with 10+ trips to the line. I hate whining about refs but man we didn't get any damn calls in that game. He was literally elbowing people in the neck to clear out space, knocking them into the cheerleaders and it was "no call" and then we'd brush him on a shot and it's called and-1. That was the most defined home cooking I saw all season in a game AU was in.

They'll also slow things down and try to make us play 30 seconds of defense and keep us from getting any transition. I'd love a hot start to push them out of that mentality and get them into our chaos mode. Feels like Bruce owes Frank a nice 20 point beatdown.

Seems like a good matchup to go to a little zone. Let them try to make 3s in that cavernous arena and keep the ball away from Silva in the paint. They are supposedly getting AJ Lawson back today which would be a big boost for them.

Yeah that was a great piece. When BRUCE is being interviewed I know it's gonna be good, and it always ends up being GREAT. Not so much like the nut job like you said. Sonny Smith was great as well, BRUCE lite & precursor if you will.
