He’s currently arguing that because Lamar Jackson fumbled too much in the playoffs this year, that Gus was right in not offering him. I want to punch him in the face.I might have to leave tbb. Rice triggers me beyond belief

Probably due for a reminder that it’s that type of reasoning that caused him to flunk out of Auburn. He’s currently arguing that because Lamar Jackson fumbled too much in the playoffs this year, that Gus was right in not offering him. I want to punch him in the face.
Is that so? I just assumed he started at AUM?Probably due for a reminder that it’s that type of reasoning that caused him to flunk out of Auburn.
Agreed. I remain hopeful that this is the opposite of last year. Last year we caught fire and were a machine through January and into February, but always knew we were thin and susceptible to any team with a legit 5. We are struggling to hit our stride this year, but we are not 1 injury away from being out of contention in March as we were last year. With Austin healthy, we are also not susceptible to being run rough shod by some team with a 7 footer. This team has the pieces to make a run in March. It would certainly be nice if we could continue to improve and finally put it all together for a big win next weekend at Rupp though.if he’s known for betting women’s tennis then he’s exactly the type of guy I can get behind... and he’s got like 30k twitter followers
his reasoning makes perfect sense - and the fact that he called it in October is reassuring
so is the fact we’re still 14th in kenpom - with a top 10 offense and a top 50 defense
we’re definitely better than we were in December/early January... that loss Saturday crushed me - but it was a much better performance than the NC State, UAB, South Carolina, and both Mississippi games
I remain skeptical, but I feel better... I was ready to write this team off completely Saturday afternoon... and while their tourney chances will be largely matchup dependent, the chances still remain
Well not to regale stories of internet past but basically yes. Forget all the deets but once upon a time he said he ‘left’ AU cause his major was too hard and AUM had a better business school. Then he posts a link of the ranking and to nobody’s surprise but his own it was a ranking of commuter schools or whatever classification AUM falls under. Is that so? I just assumed he started at AUM?
Am I still wrong?Well it’s not taboo it’s wrong. On the season he’s our most productive player according to the PER metrics. Malik 2nd Chuma 3rd.
He hasn’t been good the last 2 but then Chuma has been even worse and we all know he’s a stud.
Such a true Auburn man, unlike those stupid hut hut boosters who won't even try to get us some OL.

Welp, all boog hut hut frustration will from this point forward be directed towards DIRK. Who knew that guy cost us EVERYTHING...the craziest thing about all of that is, it happened in the spring of 1998... Dirk wasn’t sure he was going to the NBA yet, but after he crushed Barkley and Pippen and some NBA dudes in that exhibition, then crushed the poor American teens at the Nike Hoop Summit, he realized he was ready to go pro...
IF Dirk had went to college...
and IF Charles could’ve convinced him to go to Auburn...
Dirk would’ve been on the 98-99 team with Porter and the rest of those guys...
replace Pohlman, bring him off the bench:
Doc
Smith
Porter
Dirk
Mamadou
that was also the year Bowden quit mideseason... we could’ve won a title and transitioned to a b-ball school 20 years ago
Dirk’s sunken eyes tell the story. His boog soul sold out for his NBA lust. Must haunt him every day.Welp, all boog hut hut frustration will from this point forward be directed towards DIRK. Who knew that guy cost us EVERYTHING...

You beat that chest bruh...ZFGNot to beat my own chest, but I've been real busy lately and I saw an opportunity at lunch last week to post a thread on TBB simply named "Lamar Jackson."
After hurling a 3 week old rotting piece of bait into TBB waters, rice swallowed hook and all with the 3rd post of the thread loling at Lamar Jackson for his turnovers in their playoff game. Long story short, I come back a short time later and the thread is 11 fuggin pages and I drop in from time to time to remind everyone that Gus offered Tyler Queen instead of LAMAR.
I was one of the ones that kept that thread going. Possibly m favorite rice thread ever. Not to beat my own chest, but I've been real busy lately and I saw an opportunity at lunch last week to post a thread on TBB simply named "Lamar Jackson."

I’d take Barkley on this team. Even at 6’4.5” or whatever he was, he gave 7 foot guys like Bowie and Turpin fits. And he could run with our guards. It seems like too obvious of an answer but we’d be lethal. My second pick would be another Center. Momadu, Bobby Cattage or Jeff Moore would probably be in line next for me.
Doc Robinson's leadership and basketball IQ would be very useful on this team.
Several obvious ones to name that are better, but I would like to have Chris Denson on this team
I really hate he didn't have another year of eligibility. It's almost unjust.Several obvious ones to name that are better, but I would like to have Chris Denson on this team

Hmm mixed feelings on this one. And by mixed feelings I openly hoped he’d transfer a couple days ago now I gotta figure out how to walk that back and convince myself he’ll ball next year.

Makes sense. Could definitely see Austin and Jared declaring. Then if they don’t get drafted maybe they decide to come back at that point.seems like the growing sentiment around the tronz is, in order of likelihood of being back, it’s:
Danjel
Samir
Austin
Jared
Chuma
I think Chuma is playing himself into the first round, but hopefully he has 8-10 more games left, in which case, god bless you and good luck in the league, you beautiful genius
prevailing thought seems to be that Jared is gone as well if he’s invited to the combine and does well enough to get a look from an NBA team... which makes sense - he’s not gonna grow between this draft and the next, so if he can be a deep bench or G-League guy next year then go ahead and get started
I really wish we could make it worth his while to stay for his final year though... but if Sharife reclassifies and wants to Boog next year, then god bless Jared and good luck to you as well, you adorable genius
