This is some absolute non sense if true. Leath knows that Bruce would get a big win in the court of public opinion if Austin is deemed eligible. You can’t fire him after the fuggin NCAA says you’re all good. Something nefarious really is up gang. Leath is honestly hoping that Austin goes overseas
This dude is trash for real regardless of this sitch. The backstory on him and his misuse of Iowa St funds is borderline criminal. He has no business being Boog U president.

The NCAA can only recommend. At this stage in the game only the University can declare a player eligible or ineligible.

Why couldn't they? I feel like the Wiley's could do something if Leath is literally telling Bruce Wiley has been cleared by the NCAA but until you talk to me, he has no chance of seeing the court in an Auburn uniform.
He was using the ISU jets (think he was even piloting them himself) for personal use and got caught. Could’ve been arrested I believe but they let him off as long as he paid for the costs of all the flight. Believe he had to cough up a couple hundred k to get out of it

This is true. The question for me, is why would this be an issue that the President decides? Obviously he can overrule any decision, but wouldn't this be more of an Athletic Dept issue than something decided by the Pres and/or BoT? Seems like he's making a decision on an issue that he may not have expertise in, and that is not a good thing IMO.

the most annoying part of this whole thing is if Austin and Danjel played all year, with no distractions, everyone could finally shut their dicksuckers once and for all about the whole “BRUCE can’t coach” or “what’s he won?” or any other narrative...
the reasons we’ll never hire a better corch than BRUCE are too many to list and have nothing to do with his w/l record after 3 seasons - one of which was a complete and utter throwaway from the beginning... anyone who thinks we’ll hire a better coach than BRUCE is, to put it simply, a goddamn moron and should never post about college basketball again, because you have no understanding of the work required of the basketball coach at Auburn that - no hyperbole - no other coach in the country has to deal with, none of which has a single thing to do with actually coaching basketball...
so, feel free to think we can hire a better “coach” than BRUCE... have fun watching him get the shit beat out of him in an empty arena with a roster full of guys who have no business playing in the SEC... they won’t win any games, but by god they’ll work really hard running th offense before missing a shot... and won’t have to worry about giving up open 3’s because they can’t keep anyone from getting to the rim at will...

There’s no doubt that that a 7ft tall legit athlete could’ve become a real contributor in his jr and sr year at AU. He was just a maniac and hated it at Auburn
Yeah that’s legit. Kid looked completely hopeless when he was here. Would be nice to have on the end of the bench.

So lots of rumblings that Austin will be back on friday. Fingers and everything else crossed that this is true.
I might be getting trolled by JGT again, but he said that Austin has been practicing with the first team in stead of the scout team now and is being included in all the specific strategy aspects for Mercer. So if it's not Friday, then it has to be soon for him.
He always says that. We’ll see. Hopefully soon. @AUNaughty7 mentioned Danjel was in NY. Apparenly Austin was there recently as well. I assume to discuss FBI and/or NCAA related stuff.
