OT: AUBURN BASKETBALL

That Auburn Everyday episode got me in the feels today. Just recapping the SCar game and how the team dealt with it in the locker room and then the whole Bama game experience. It’s a good ‘un.

Is it online somewhere that I can watch it?

Is this online somewhere? Haven’t seen one since first couple SEC games.

What chan?

It came on Fox Sports Southeast (Charter channel 812 in Auburn). It’s supposed to replay on that channel at 10 CT tonight. Here’s a link to listings in other areas. They also post them on YouTube, but the lastest One hasn’t been updated yet.

that stat is hugely important...

of course, I’m talking about free throws attempted... but that’s far too much nuance for most college football fans to wrap their tiny dinosaur brains around
FTA is the most surprising stat to me for a team that at times feels like we rely on the jump shot too much. Yet the numbers don’t lie

So i didn't realize Bruce's bunch play on Tuesday night...that's gonna be a slog to Fayetteville to play a team that has won 5 of it's last 6 and plays well at home...lemee go a ahead and get that Game Thread up

they’re a legit threat as a 13/14 seed... they’re gonna give someone hell

and I cringe every time we’re projected and MTSU is a potential 2nd round matchup... their guards shot the hell out of the ball against us and are good enough to do it again... I’ll be picking them to make the second week in my pools unless they just have a hellacious draw or work up to an 8/9 seed

aTm looks like a steal of a bet to me. Arky too. Only ones I would touch besides the boogs, of course, but the value just isn’t quite there. And honestly an earlyish exit wouldn’t be the worst thing that could happen to us. We could use the rest.
Obviously I'll watch the games, but if we split, or outright win, the regular season championship, I almost prefer us to lose the first game for rest, and to give them a chip on their shoulder since this team seems to feed off disrespect.

I agree with this. The only thing I’d worry about with losing so quickly in the SECT is how that might affect our seeding for the NCAAT. Other than that, if we can lock up the SEC regular season, I’m cool with us doing whatever we need to do to be as fresh and as sharp as possible going into the SECT.

Here's my ideal finish to the season. UT loses to Miss St, thereby clinching us at least a share of the SEC. We play heavy zone against Arkansas and SCar in an attempt to conserve our legs and giving our guys a chance at live game action to work out the kinks of the zone. We split with Slaw and SCar. I'd consider starting Davion for the SCar game to rest Harper a little more and give Davion some good experience in his first start. We get a full 5 days rest before the SECT. We win our first and lose our second SECT game and play and shoot well in both games. That gives us another 5 full days to prepare for the NCAAT.

11 straight victories would suit me just fine.
