OT: AUBURN BASKETBALL

I would guess this is mostly a "go find out what they tell you to work on" move. He's not going to get drafted, especially after his play late in the season. He's super undersized and likely would struggle to get drafted even if his play was fantastic, but if he can fix the things the league wants him to fix he stands a much better chance of landing on a roster eventually. So this makes sense for him even if it's a bit scary as a fan.
It’s not really scary as a fan. It was more a “lol seriously?”, considering he is basically undraftable at this point from a skill set perspective.

Nothing wrong with wanting to go work out for a bunch of nba execs and scouts. He’s just trying to improve himself and see what they have to say. Not sure why you’re like “lol seriously.”

Your "lol" doesn't make any sense in this situation

Now that this chapter is done can someone explain to us plebeians why the hell what his sister went through here without the extremely vague and "not nearly as descriptive as you think" answer of that she was kidnapped?

Oh well would have been a heck of a 3rd string 4 for us this upcoming season. Hopefully he at least gets to play in the Clam one time.
Crazy to think that he legitimately has a better shot at starting for Kentucky than he did for the Boogs.

Don’t know all the deets but there was some rumor Boog U paid his sis/ family a settlement over whatever transpired and mutually agreed we’d no longer recruit him to avoid any perceived inproprieties over such payment.

Ok this makes sense

Thanks

From what I remember, she and an assistant coach were involved in some way romantically off the court. BM ended things, assistant didn't like it and took her to a hotel in Columbus to sort things out, then wouldn't let her leave. The assistant also supposedly had a physical run-in with BM's roommate, who is related to a bunker member. Anyway, the whole thing was discovered and the assistant was quietly let go, and BM and her family supposedly reached a financial settlement to keep things quiet (which just reeks of stupidity on Auburn's part IMO). And because of that, I think recruiting EJ had to stop because of what Denim Vest said.

Ok this answers the other question. Thanks both of you.

Same thing happened in Rashaan Evans' recruitment after we paid his dad years before on a nusiance butthurt claim.

Lawson St maybe right. I can't remember for sure but that's what he told my friend that coaches against him.

I’ll ask Rodney but a coach I know that’s friends with Sharman doesn’t think he’ll come unless it’s a lot more money than GSU pays him.

I'd like to think we have the resources to make that happen. I mean we pay Gus $7M we could pay a quality hoops assistant at least half that.

Roster breakdown by year for the next two seasons. I took Heron off because of his intention to sign with an agent and left Harper on because of his intention not to sign with an agent. For now, I've left Wiley on until we get official word of his plans. And I won't included Stretch until I know when exactly he's enrolling. I left Doughty at SG, but I think his primary role is going to be backup PG next year. He will probably play both. This upcoming 2019 class that will play the '19-'20 season is absolutely huge for us given our depth after this senior class leaves.
