if Austin leaves then welp, I enjoyed our unexpected title and will enjoy making the tourney as an 8-10 seed next year and let’s hope BRUCE reels in some new hulking youngsters in the 19 class

So I’m assuming this means Chuma is back for sure. Hopefully Desean will teach the young doctor some of those grown man moves before he graduates and takes off for the Turkish league.

I don't think the drop off will be nearly as significant as you think it will. We're losing more of Davion's potential rather than losing any of his production, and I think Murray was gonna begin to struggle even more in year two of SEC play. Once the tape was out on him, he was pretty ass down the stretch, so having Chuma and Danjel get his minutes is fine with me. What are the value of his intangibles? I don't know. Does he provide good depth? Yeah but that's about all he would've been.
The team won the SEC without Austin this past season. So I'd love to have him, but the squad is still a SEC contender whether he stays or goes. But if you just look at like from what we had last season to what we could have this season:

you could argue that we're adding more production to a championship team than what we're losing. And that doesn't account for assuming that some guys really should improve in the off season.
I don't know. I'm not too down on any of this. I think the Boogs should definitely be better than an 8-10 seed imo.
Yeah I'm holding to top 15ish without Austin. Top 5 with. It's just startling all these guys leaving unexpectedly but still look like a better team on paper than last season.
Gonna miss papa bear's toughness and leadership. Hopefully these young cubs have learned a thing or two from him. We got 4-5 guys that can pick up 10-15 mins at 4 behind Dr C.
