I’d guess our fan base is no more ignorant than any other - but jesus christ @ some people freaking out every time a kid wants to get a draft evaluation
just because it’s been a generation since we had anyone good enough to ask for an evaluation is no excuse to continually misunderstand what’s happening here
and even if 6 kids leave and/or go pro - guess what? that’s what happens at major conference “basketball schools”... and BRUCE is one of the, I don’t know, 8-10 most qualified corches in the entire country to replace that kind of roster churn
if you want to attach yourself to guys for 3-4 years, go follow Virginia or Gonzaga... the BRUCE experience isn’t for you

I’d be salty if he went to Clemson. This is a weird one. Returning starter. I mean we can all say Chuma/ Danjel are gonna take his mins and they should but I don’t see why you just peace out.
I’m just not seeing a scenario where we don’t have room for him at this point. I’ll presume JG didn’t totally pull that out his ass I guess. I supposse it wouldn’t really surprise anyone if BP had his eyes on some elite studs we don’t know about though.
If they can find a true young center to sit out this season as a transfer, then that's the only way I can see Bruce passing on Akingbola. With Wiley and Horace definitely gone after next season, we're gonna need someone with experience to play with Mac, and with the way things are going there's no guarantee Mac will be at AU either.
Wanna know the scary thing? The 247 board makes tbb look totally sane on it understanding of college basketball and our current situation.
And tbb is terrible on this subject.

I don't have the huge issues with the moderators on tbb that many here do, but I couldn't post on that board during hoops season. Period. It's just painful. Meltdowns over everything constantly. No understanding of the sport at all. It's exhausting just trying to read the posts, much less interact when it concerns basketball.
I'll be mad if you guys haven't held this thing together by the time we tipoff again.
we only have to hold on for another 4ish months and then we'll be back right into football season. I think The Greg will be fine

I think another disappointing football season will keep us all together.
8-4. Winning games by 30 over bad/flawed middle tier SEC squads will calm some people down. Not I. If we aren’t winning big games with this defense we are crap.
I honestly don’t know if we get to 8 wins this season. I believe our offense is going to be really bad. I’m basing that solely off poor RT, LT, and C play though. JS still has a problem hanging onto the ball, and if he does that shit this season he’s going to be taken off on a stretcher.
I think we’re 9-0 going into UGA and then we get humbled
