Stid was an incredible QB, gus had no idea how to develop qbs, stidham is who Bellicheck wanted to mentor, think about that.
You don’t have to tell me. I have a little more respect for Belicheck’s football acumen than some here.
Good news is they have several guys out as well. And thy just aren’t as deep or talented as us anyway. I do think they are well coached.

actually, I think we'd be down 21 7 with gus, our playmakers like tank would probably be in (covid my ass) and we'd wind up losing something like 35 14. This without our best players, is far better. IMO the playcalling is a little less predictable as well, although I hated that 2nd down fade and our Oline is absolute ass.
The WR’s are going to have to make him look good. Harsin probably isn’t a miracle worker. Bo had a layup opportunity on the TD pass and the kid had to made a great catch on an inaccurate pass and fight off a DB instead of catching a ball in stride and walking in.

Really liked what Canion did and I think he'll replace what Seth Williams could do and maybe more as far as being explosive, maybe less on 50/50 balls. Just need a couple of the other guys to step up. Stove will probably return for a 6th yr.
While I agree with most all of this, what Canion and others charged with stepping up will need most, is a more accurate and just plain better Bo Nix. We left a lot of meat on the bone this season with his horrible accuracy on downfield throws.
Sounds like standard boog internet fantasy. Every assistant that goes to Bama or UGA turns into a great recruiter anyway cause they have a head coach that can recruit. Hopefully now that we have a coach that isn’t a complete doorknob we can go back to plucking a handful of top prospects.
Maybe I'm just partial but if we get Dell as OC, I hope we keep caddy as RB coach, I just like the guy.

would be wild if we can get Trob as just a DB coach but that'd be fire. Al Pogue is a great recruiter though so no worries if it's him. Totally fine with a Bobo as OC thing since it's gonna be Harsin calling the shots anyway. Derek Mason as DC is a major win.
