I don't mind Bobo at all. Great recruiter and I think he is a solid offensive mind. Pair him with an offensive-minded head coach and I think that is a solid fit. Wouldn't like it near as much with a defensive-minded head coach.

the interesting thing here too is that Caddy is seemingly definitely getting dumped and Larry Porter (who's been on the staff for a long time) is taking over that RB job that should have been his a LONG time ago. Just goes to show you how fuggin weird Malzahn was. Sticking with Tiny Tim so long when a proven RB recruiter in Porter was on staff. And then skipping over Porter again to hire Caddy (probably as an attempt to gain favor with boog nation but still).
Im pretty pleased with everything so far. Of course we had a middle school PE teacher as a HC and now what seems to be one that resembles a functioning adult human.

Looks like our new staff is already trying to fix some of the idiotic mistakes and oversights of the last bunch of goons we had running our program. How does a 4star OT from our own backyard not have and offer from us? Think I’m most excited about what Will Friend is going to do for AU oline recruiting. We need to fill the rest of our spots in 2021 with noting but OT’s and DE’s.
Watched some of the highlights from the UB RB transfer that we are making a move on. Think he would fit well to add some experienced depth behind Tank and Shivers. Then hopefully snag the kid from instate in 2022, along with the Gunner QB stud. Feels so nice actually caring about the state of AU football again.
How good is this Gunner child? It’s hard to wrap my brain around him being that great when you compare to a top tier hoops Hyg like Shariffe or Isaac:

Raybun is in the top corner of Georgia so competition isn’t that great unless they are playing Gainesville. Kid has a rocket but unlike Nix, he’s accurate. I wish I saw more routes on his film than run to the end zone.
I like the two RB’s we’ve zoomed in on out of hs. The kid from San Diego is a monster and the kid from Mississippi can move (also thiccc).
I think the Texas kid comes in and is 2nd string day one. Shivers will probably transfer after the spring... I don’t think Harsin is a gadget player guy.

I'll be honest my absolute favorite thing about this staff is how much it's pissing off the standard Boog Honketariat class.
I believe he was hired with the intention to run things after Pruit was let go. Him becoming the next head coach or the DC would be the two most likely outcomes IMO.
