Looks like our best OL croot & I’m putting it under this thread cause we almost waited too late to runt of Gus. I’m hoping this new mountain WOLF will let me care & start keeping up again. It’s really remarkable how Boog huthut has rebounded over the years after some really dark times. Hoping this new stud will make a 15-20 run. Looks like he was a 3* & reminds me of some 4* OL last year that did the same. Then the Bams land the #1/2/8 offensive tackles this year & he may never see the field lol.
with the caveat that I don’t know shit, I’d rather have Avalos as DC than Moore as OC... this should open the door for Avalos to come Boog with us unless he gets an unexpected head coaching offer
That would be the bigger hire IMO. Also kind of hopeful we could land Grimes as OC.

Couldn’t imagine him leaving the Cowboys as OC to come to AU for the same title. I don’t know if he’ll get the credit or if McCarthy will but the offense he’s put together for the Cowboys with all the injuries on the Oline and with Dak has been impressive.

I heard some good things Monday from East of AU. Our last two coaches hired some pretty good recruiters. No reason to think a much more proven winner won’t follow suit.
Georgia board was worried yesterday because DELL is following Allen Greene and Boog football on Twitter... there was a rousing debate on the Bunker on whether those are new follows or if he’d been following them a while
I don’t think a definitive conclusion was reached, but let’s hope we get some good news after the bowl games

btw hot take, I think we absolutely skull drag NW tomorrow. Reason being, coaches are fighting for their jobs, players are fighting for their spots, and we have talent. There is massive incentive in every aspect for everyone on the field tomorrow to give it their best, and we havent had that since 2013 really.

It's gonna be dope fam. I literally cannot contain my excitement for an AU game without Gus on the sidelines. It feels like forever. Things to look for:
1) No nose-picking.
2) Not pounding it up the middle every time after a first down.
3) First downs.
4) Not burning an early time out because we are dumb and lost.
5) Crotch-grabbing and constant pants adjustments.
6) Lame lip-reading of "bullcrap" or "horse crap" or my favorite "that's a terrible call"
7) Constant bubble gum chewing.
Granted some of these are shooting for the moon but I'll guarantee you it can't be worse.

A bunch of guys out and barely know who the regular players are to begin with but the fact Gus won’t be on the sideline makes this the most excited I’ve been about a boog huthut game in a long time.
