I don’t dislike him but he’s just not entertaining to watch. Part of what makes him so good is that he is so focused and plays with zero emotion but it almost weakens the stakes of the tourney bc it feels like he doesn’t care. He also seemingly rarely finds himself in trouble off the tee so it leads to like boring, systematic golf. Whereas guys like Tiger or Phil bomb it all over the place and are forced to play exciting approach shot.

Think I’d have a heart attack on that first tee with OB on both sides fug that. Should be fun to watch with all the wind/ rain today.

I think it’s incredibly impressive, but I just don’t see how you could call it as impressive with Tiger actually winning all 4. He was also 23 or 24 right?
 
No wonder they drink so much over there. Game is hard enough without playing in a hurricane.

I know what you mean. And I did say depending on how today played out. He had the opportunity to finish 1 or 2 in 6 of 7 majors. And he’s going to Finish T3 it appears. Just amazing as deep as the fields are.

got fitted for a driver shaft on a trackman recently

Projext X Hzrdus Smoke 6.5 75g Xstiff

immediately it has reduced spin and performs incredibly more consistent than the stock shaft I had in my driver

I want to duplicate that for the 3 wood. Do I just order the equivalent for the 3 wood? What would the equivalent be?

You’ve come to the right place. I actually have this exact shaft in my 3 wood. Typically you’d want a heavier shaft in the 3 wood but as I’m sure you know the smoke doesn’t come in an 80g offering. Quite a pickle.

My advise would be to put the same shaft in the 3 wood if you really like it in the D. I mean iron shafts are all the same weight across so I why should they be different in the woods?

I have a black 60x in my D and I find that to be even lower spin than the smoke. Smoke is nice and smooth in my 3 wood. Gets me a little higher launch but ideal spin in the 3wd.

ACTUALLY

my shaft is 70g and I just found out about they DO make an 80g shaft in the Smoke for a 3 wood

no brainer right?

Interesting. My browser doesn’t love the PX site for some reason. Yeah I’d give that one a go. Was thinking it might only be in a hybrid shaft.

Presidents Cup getting started in a couple hours. It’s the ugly cousin of the Ryder Cup but should help get me through to Saturday Boog Hoops.

Patrick Reed cheating controversy adding a little juice. Prime time coverage. World class track at Royal Melbourne. Should be at least mildly interesting.

Kinda glad the US is down early might make this thing actually interesting. Although, this whole ‘play through’ coverage is just horrific. It’s basically unwatchable. I think they graphiced back in from it right as Tiger’s chip in was about to go in.

Also Bryson is so ridiculous. A cartoon character. Golf needs a heel though and he checks all the boxes for rooting against. Maybe even more so than P Reed.

I really didn’t want to promote it until we were more polished but I think we’ve settled in nicely over the last 5-6 weeks

I created a twitter account but have never tweeted... I’ll start up next month when the season starts and football is winding down, hopefully we can ramp things up heading into Augusta... I’m really not even that concerned with how many downloads we’re getting until after the Masters

there is a forced carry Twitter handle all 3 of us have access to, but it’s mostly Steve who has used it... Jase a little

we know we need a social media following to grow the pod, but I’d rather wait until we have a good product and promote it than try to get as many listeners as possible who are never gonna stick around if the pod is shitty... that could be the wrong way to think, but that’s been my approach so far

commercials were beyond ridiculous... between 7-8 pm, 23 minutes of commercials

another hour showed a total of 4 tee shots - all from the same match and same par 3 back to back to back to back
