Kansas isn’t winning 6 straight, so might as well take the chance they’re off against us... Delgado will get Horace in foul trouble and murder Dr. Chuma... I don’t want to have to watch that
Had to read 6 pages because I checked out a bit last night. Glad I got to watch some of the 16 over 1 upset and the playback reading through this thread 18 hours later was fantastic. Highlight of the thread getting to relive that game through the reactions here.
@demeat spent 20 posts making sure he emphasized how much he admired that scrub ass, underachieving squad of bad haircuts and how sure he was they were gong to win. That's the lowlight of the thread to this point.
Avery Johnson is not a good coach. I watched him in Dallas. He's bad. This was as good as it's going to get. He's not going to put together a better offense with less talent because he can make parts fit together. LOL...have you seen this dude coaching history? Bwaaahhahahahaha at the idea that he can now move the ball and create great looks for his guys without a lottery pick helping make all of it happen.

Seton Halls guards are slow as fug. I know KU got some good ones but they’d not blow by our studs like this.

college basketball is an awful product... Avery will succeed the same as any other corch would at BAMA - they’re a big brand, they’ll recruit well, they’ve got bagmen on top of bagmen, and Avery is a moderately well known name
he’s an atrocious corch... just terrible... I don’t blame people who never watched the nba for being tricked into believing he’s a threat - but he’s not... he’s a complete and total clown... I doubt many people in this state were watching so much of the Mavs when he was there... I love Dirk and the had Marquis so they were my adopted team... I’ve hated Avery long before he got to BAMA and will miss hating him when he’s gone
He's gonna try to win the way he did most of his time there so far...tenacious defense with good athletes and slowing the game down. He's just wired that way. They briefly started to push pace after their terrible conference start but he doesn't want to do that. Its not in his coaching DNA somehow despite being around some NBA people who preached it. They'll be decent, make some tournaments but come up short because it's ugly hoops and at key points it will rely on the HC to make the calls/adjustments that win tight games and he can't. Plus he's going against the SEC as it's getting better and better. I think he's gonna be Gottfried like, minus that Elite 8 appearance.
So you missed my score prediction in our game and my love for the fighting labs and instead come in to bust balls over a bad second half for bammer lol. Yes they were destroyed by one of the top teams in the country. But from watching the first half it appeared they had a good shot.
Our team didn’t really play well either and frankly we are lucky the other team shot just as poor as we did. Brown and Harper continue to struggle.
I can't remember your score prediction through the fog of bammer fear and spin. Maybe if you had limited your "bams are sooo good and gonna win guys" to a single post I could remember the score predictions. But when you flood the zone for 2 straight pages it's hard to remember anything else.

"If" we win tomorrow, then I like our chances vs Kansas moreso than I would against Seton Hall. SetonHall would be a nightmare matchup for us IMNSHO. With that said, I'm praying we'll get back to form tomorrow night. I just can't believe we'll stay cold. If we get back to getting our swag back, then we'll make it to the elite 8.

I’ve been able to watch all of 3 minutes of the tourney today and saw the best dagger of the tourney so far. My goodness there’s nothing better than the madness..
after a great first round, yesterday was a pretty poor showing from the SEC with only kentucky advancing. Hopefully the Boogs and A&M can rectify that ass performance from the conference

Yeah UF and UT were in position and in close games and neither came through. That's the edge in this tourney...a couple of plays for most teams is the difference between Sweet 16 and bye bye.
I think this is about right for the SEC. By the end of the season there were no great teams but a bunch of dangerous/kinda good ones. A very deep league that didn't have the top tier squads really. UF never seemed to hit their potential. AU hit there's and then stuff happened. UT probably played above their heads most of the season and finished about how they should have. UK is finally starting to realize their success. A&M might get there or may continent to disappoint. A much improved league but we need to take another step up next season.
Butler is a good squad. Thought they had it won until Purdue hit that 3
he is... I just can’t shake the feeling he’s too soft... I know that seems dumb to say because he demolishes entire teams when he wants to, but even just now, the overdramatic fake injury after Pinson put him in a blender
he did the same thing 3 different times against us, then would have his head above the rim on a dunk or rebound 2 minutes later
