Nice matchup to start the season. Philly has a lot of questions and the Falcons have a boat load of talent. Thinking the Falcons win a close one.

Ready for the season to get in full swing.

I usually hate Thursday games because they are usually so sloppy, but pretty pumped for tonight obvs

Exciting day so far for League fans. Cameron doing his thing against my Boys now.

59 yards rushing in the first stanza

Makes it look easy so often. Saw a stat that showed how many hits he’s taken since 2011 vs other QB’s. It’s not even remotely close. Basically double of everybody but Russell and 30-35% more than him if I remember correctly. He may be a veggie 30 minutes after he retires. I’m going with the hope he’s truly Superman and never suffers a second for it. I love him and thank little baby Jesus every time I see him play he didn’t go somewhere beside Auburn. Not sure I’d be wishing him well if he had.

Lots of that is because the Stripes treat him more like a RB than a QB, but his ferociousness brings a bunch of it on himself. CAM being CAM. The other part of his nature you saw when he singled out that young man in the end zone. IMO he is the best ambassador for AU, and Barkley would have to be a close second. BO is just FAM

Dak Prescott is such trash. I’m sure there were some fire takes going around earlier this week about him being better than CAM.

ARod with a great comeback to end the day.
Anxious to see Chuckie back on the sidelines tomorrow night.

So it appears a lot of people are arguing with social media bots about Brady being better than A Rod. Still, pretty great stuff from AR even though you could see it coming as soon as he came out in the 2nd half.

Amazing how mediocre Dak will look when he doesn’t have a true #1 WR, a porous OL and no TE/safety blanket.

There are people out there who once thought he was better than Cammy Cam.

Edit: And Aaron Rodgers has the most talented right arm I’ve ever seen. Jesus, some of those throws were just damn near impossible.

Jags/Pats next weekend could be fun for a “meaningless” game. Hope they both play it like it matters.

I guess I'll be the one Cowboys fan not panicking after Week 1. Playcalling was horrifically predictable. Linehan/Garrett tend to do this a few times a year. Its frustrating.

I'm not nearly as down on Dak as others are either. I don't think he should be given a huge deal and the keys to the franchise, but I think he settles in.

How much longer do they give Garrett? I’m about ready to move on.

I have a strong feeling that he doesn't survive a 2-4 start. Jerry might give him until Thanksgiving but I'd be very surprised.

If they have a bad year they will have cap room, a lot of core pieces locked down, a high draft pick, and the perfect opportunity for Lincoln Riley to come in and work his magic. :)

I’m thinking we win the Natty and he hires Gussie but Riley might be the answer. Not sure Gus would take the pay cut.

I just have to give Dak a hard time because he gets compared to Cam so much and he stole his yogurt endorsement. My Panthers D is pretty stout but the Boys O was woeful till garbage time.

Cam Newton on Dallas would make them SB contenders. There isn't even a close comparison.

I think Dak is more like a higher upside bus driver type QB, if that makes sense. He has good athleticism, toughness, decent arm talent, not likely to be the sole reason you suck, but he doesn't have elite athleticism, elite arm talent, and isn't really a risk taker looking downfield.
