When you walk in a game and get yore ticket scanned, what prevents you from giving it to someone outside the gate to "resell" it? Thought about that Saturday. Am I missing something besides thinking like a sorry POS?

Nothing really other than someone seeing you handing it to someone on the outside. I think that is why they used to tear part of a ticket off but went away from it with the barcode I guess?

I have actually sneaked into games several times & sold my ticket back through the fence. Nobody has ever seen or said anything. I actually gave two kids a ticket when the IB was still played at Lesion.

Pretty sure it can only be scanned once and then it registers as used. It’s like when assholes by tickets for a concert online and then print off twenty copies of them and sell them. Only the first person to get it scanned can get in. I know from experience
Yeah special place in hell for those guise.

True, but those copies are often good for getting folks onto the floor after everyone gets in with legit tickets.

Exactly. Would take a POS to do this. It just crossed my mind when I got in. When I said something to my son about, he looked at me like I was the devil himself.

You can transfer your ticket to someone and they could easily print 5 copies instead of 1. Of course only the first person to scan it would get in, however they would investigate to see who’s it is.

It’s a bigger risk for concerts, etc. than a college football game where most people have season tickets and have to transfer them to someone via email to convert them to paper Tickets. So it’d be something AU could easily investigate.
