do we expect any of our guys to show out 2nite? Have not kept up with practice, so not sure if any of them will get much PT/hype.

Do we have a chance with this Schwartz kid who is chosing between boogs and uf?

I am excited to see if Baby Cam makes his presence known 2nite.

War Boog!

I’ve read that Gatewood has been really impressive all week in practice. Also Smoke Monday has balled out. Sounds like there’s a good chance we get Schwartz.

I'm about to put it on in the background just bc I wanna see Gatewood. Hopefully he shows out.

I remember Sean White balling out in this game though. So it doesn't matter one bit.

Coynis Miller with another nice play. Best Boog prospect so far. Hope Rodney can hold onto him

But he’s Cam Newton
Not watching. Does he look like this?

Gatewood definitely needs to learn to get rid of the damn ball. Two of these three sacks were definitely on him

Anthony Schwartz just committed to the Boogs. Seems like a cool kid and I guess they’re gonna let him run track too.
I’ll believe when I see it. They didn’t let Harry Adams, Corey Grant, and now Iggy. Gus doesn’t play that game. They may tell him that he can, like the others I mentioned, but once he gets here, it’s game over.

Corey was fuggin pissed. He had a hookup to train through the spring and summer at the AU track complex with some dude who trains the US Olympic track team and a bunch of international professional track guys. Gus told him no, unofficially banned him from the track complex, and officially banned the track guy from campus. Gus doesn’t play when it comes to that stuff. Harry got kicked off the team because he was trying to do it behind Gus’ back.

Lyin' POS. Everybody talks about, oh, all coaches lie in press conferences, coach speak, etc. and maybe that's the norm and it's true. And I can see telling a kid, oh, you will have a chance to play QB or XYZ position and then only half-ass giving the kid the chance because you always had something else in mind to begin with.
Put to tell someone they can play another sport and be lying through your teeth when doing so equates to the highest level of scum out there. I would be livid if I were that kid or his parent.

The offense in these games are so limited and they don’t really fit the DTQBs anyway.

So the offensive coordinator at Auburn was pissed a cornerback was trying to run track? Why would Malzahn care about a DB running track?

The two incompletions on the drive were not on Gatewood.

The quick pass was not well thrown. Catchable, but in a place where it would get a guy killed having to stretch out for it. Hit him in the stomach so he’s ready to run with it.

He throws it pretty well downfield when he steps into his throws. His touch passes on all the screens he’s thrown have all looked like knuckle balls

Meh. He led him with the throw ad Heath got scared. Was it a perfect pass? No. But it was a very catchable ball.
