Tenn has looked butt all night. Fortunately this helps us
That was one of those extreme home/road team games. Bams look great at home but can’t shoot on the road. Vols finally had one of those road stinkers.

Every time it looks like bams have turned the corner they drop a game to a mediocre squad. Let’s see if they can follow an impressive win with a cruise over LSU

spuat winning keeps the sec in chaos. Let the conference cannibalize while we collect dubs

I think their problem is they can get up and focused for tough games but lose focus on weaker teams.

yeah but the whole time they keep creep'n up the standings and gaining swag. AU really needs to see Mac, Makik and Davion play with more confidence and Heron put forth more consistent games instead of all these 9 min scoring outages.

Duf's updated SEC rankings

1. Auburn
2. Florida
3. Tennessee
4. Alabama
5. Texas A&M
6. Kentucky
7. Arkansas
8. Missouri
9. Miss St
10. LSU
11. S Carolina
12. Georgia
13. Ole Miss
14. Vanderbilt
I don’t believe alabama is currently better than A&M. And Alabama is so ass on the road I think that automatically disqualifies them as a top 5 team.. :D

Absolutely. They had one bad game (on the road at bama). Way too many impressive games to move due to just one bad game.

Fair enough but damn aTm is looking skrong. Bam can seem to beat anyone when it all comes together.

Our scoring droughts kept thuga in that game longer than they ever shouldve been. Im not worried about bama yet, I think we take the rematch in the clam.

I still think we are better. They had, by far, their best shooting night of the season and won’t shoot like that again, we had our top scorer out for a half, and only lost by 1.

Home teams are 41-22. Home teams at 60% are 27-12. BPI road favorites are 5-6. I didn’t include the SEC/Big 12 Challenge numbers since they weren’t conference games.

BPI for today’s games:

Kentucky at Mizzou: 43/57
S Carolina at aTm: 17/83
Arkansas at LSU: 47/53
Bama at Florida: 22/78
Ole Miss at Tenn: 10/90
UGA at Miss St: 34/66
Vandy at Auburn: 12/88

BPI for the midweek games:

Tenn at Kentucky: 54/46
SCarolina at Arkansas: 17/83
Bama at Miss St: 43/57
Mizzou at Ole Miss: 54/46
LSU at Florida: 20/80
Georgia at Vandy: 35/65
aTm at Auburn: 20/80

BPI for today’s games:

Florida at S Carolina: 61/39
Miss St at Mizzou: 25/75
Auburn at UGA: 72/28
Ole Miss at LSU: 27/73
Tennessee at Bama: 65/35
Kentucky at aTm: 32/68
Vandy at Arkansas: 21/79

Home teams are 56-28. Home teams at 60% are 37-14. BPI road favorites are 9-7.

BPI for the midweek:

aTm at Mizzou: 33/67
Arkansas at OM: 61/39
LSU at Bama: 27/73
SCarolina at Tenn: 8/92
Miss St at Vandy: 41/59
UGA at Florida: 14/86
Kentucky at Auburn: 22/78

Surprised by Mizzou and Vandy being favored, although I'm interested to see how Mizzou matches up in the front court with aTm. Need UGA and SCar to find some magic and either give us some breathing room or keep the gap where it is.

Just heard Andy Kennedy Ian stepping down at ole miss after the season.

Interesting. Sounds like he will coach the rest of the season. Don't think it will affect the standings much since they only play 2 teams within 3 games of us right now (at Mizzou and UT at home). But it will be interesting to see who they hire to replace him. The conference is already damn tough. If they add another good coach to the mix, we could be looking at a sustained run as one of the top conferences in college basketball.

Yeah he was a good coach in a suck conference but with it looking like the SEC becoming good and seeing what they didn’t this year I can see why they would want to make a change. I think we have seen his ceiling. T might backfire bc he isn’t a terrible coach but if Auburn can improve this much maybe they can too.

Why do you have UF so high?

TBH, no real reason other than I’d take them over Tennessee in a game. I think you could make a good case for any of the teams I have listed 2-5. aTm is probably the best, most complete team in the league, but I have a hard time putting them at #1 after their start.

Damn. aTm is a trainwreck of a program right now. They kicked off one player and suspended another indefinitely. Plus, their backup PG, Wilson, is out for the year with the recurring knee injury. So, for at least the next game or two, they're down to 7 scholarship players and have only 2 guards available. Their roster looks like this:

PG: Starks
SG: Gilder
SF: Hogg, Flagg
PF: Williams
C: Davis, Trocha-Morelos

Lunardi had them as a 4 seed, along with UT yesterday. Not a big stretch.

This changes things drastically. I felt like they were about to make a run
