Miss state just finished off Arkansas. No idea State was 13-1. Impressive. I feel good about this Arkansas match up.

I would’ve raged. And we thought we had some poor officiating. State shot 40 FTs to Arky’s 12.

Vandy looks solid. If you stop Sexton at all, you beat bama easily.
Nothing new here. Basketball officiating is bad overall but sec officiating is on another levelThere were 6 total combined FTs shot in the Florida-aTm game last night. Talk about inconsistent officiating across the conference.
Most certainly.that's bananas. Do coaches scout refs just like they scout opposing players and opposing coaches' tendencies? I'm guessing they do.
The SEC will be a bloodbath this season.LSU beating Kentucky at the half right now
Looks about right. Very deep league this year, but the top three have each had their struggles. I think any of the top 6 could win the regular season crown, although Tennessee has put itself in an early hole and Arky is about to do the same.My SEC “power ranking” after the first two games of the season.

Yeah could move some around but I think you got it about right. I'm not even really sure how to differentiate much of the top 10 at this point but those are all teams vying for a tourney bid. Vandy and LSU capable of winning on most nights. OM and Scar clearly the bottom of the lig.My SEC “power ranking” after the first two games of the season.

Has he been getting minutes for them?
Has he been getting minutes for them?
Wow. That sounds like a sketchy situation.Yeah about 14 minutes a game.

Yeah, that's an odd time to transfer halfway through your freshman year when you're at least somewhat contributing.
Can he transfer for the Spring semester and be good to go next January?
Not sure. I think he’d had to sit out a year. So maybe that’s a possibility. If it is, that has to be part of the reason to transfer now.
Speaking of transfers, I could’ve sworn TJ Lang was a grad transfer when he left, but he had to redshirt this season at USF.I just looked up New Williams and he had to sit out the Spring last year and the fall this year. Eligible to play now.

2016-17 (REDSHIRT): Transferred to Fresno State for the 2017 spring semester as a Division I transfer ... will also have to sit out the 2017 fall semester as a mid-year Division I transfer.

AU student-athletes take classes on a 3-year plan, around 18-20 hours per semester, and they take the max during the summers. So it's definitely possible. What usually happens though is they get half way through year two, change their major, and their new major has no overlap so they end up basically repeating a year. That probably happens more times than not.I didn't think he was a grad transfer. Would have meant he graduated in 3 years.

TJ Lang blows and if I remember correctly he had a terrible attitude as well. Glad we have Dunbar
