Well at least us Boogs are keeping our DC

Saban could still come after Kevin but I doubt Kevin would leave for a lateral move

I love KS and hope he is at AU for as long as he wants to coach.
Starting following him more when he was at Bama in 08--heck of a defense.

I think he was there twice, before bolting off to CU where I think he got a bit of a raw deal. In that nightmare game, I think CU, off TOs, handed 4-5 TDs to the Mountaineers.

Love that guy and hope he stays until he retires.

BLAZE ON!!!

I worked with a girl whose BF was on that Clemson staff. Apparently Steele is an absolute WOLF and everyone who works for him loves him.

Also - I think she mentioned that Dabo fired KS in the weeks prior to the WVU game. I think the plan was to let KS leave with dignity, give him time to find another job and let him finish out the season. Maybe that didn't bode well with KS, or maybe he just did not GAF in that game.

All hearsay but makes sense. I think

Maybe I'm Booging too hard here, but I feel like if 50% of the league is just gonna hire Saban-lite and try to reproduce their "process" it's gotta all get watered down a bit. Like maybe 80% of the ones trying it are going to just suck while Nick and Kirby soak up literally all of the available oxygen. Or does having these guys all over the place now water down what Nick and Kirby are able to do?

We probably won't execute it, but I feel like there is a good path for programs to be "not that" for a few years. Feels like half the league is going to be selling this same exact product with the same exact systems and targeting the same players while having the same philosophies and anyone that can correctly get on the other side of it will have a bit of an advantage maybe.

Or I'm wrong and UA/UGA/UT/USCe/A&M are just going to all be great at the same time somehow and UF and AU are going to get left behind.

I support this message.

Which leaves the door open for many Malzahn vs Mullen in the SECCG matchups.
