thank. f’ing. god. that’s. over.
What a game by SBJ!! @demeat you gotta admit, he carried us today
Yeah UF is a great matchup for us. Don’t have a ton of size. They basically are us except worse at everything and less depth.Id rather play them than LSU

Got a Financial Analyst job in Bham which is what I’ve wanted to do since graduated but finally got the opportunitywhere you moving to next?
We would be pretty good if we had a good, high hoops IQ point guard. Just sayin
They played incredibly well today. Shot better than us from 3 and Silva was a monster. Incredible we could beat them by 9 with them playing that well given how terrible of a matchup they are for us.USCe is a better basketball team than I gave them credit for all year. I’ve always thought Martin was a good coach. Just honestly expected to beat them by 20 today. Just giving them props for two hard fought games. UF is going down but they will be tougher to beat than they were in The Clam last month.
But how did JVon doMost post game novella....
2 days, 2 Ws over teams that gave us their best shot with their star player on fire. Yesterday the bench was huge for us when our stars were struggling. Bench was great again today, outscoring USCe's bench 23-2. Today we didn't have to rely on the bench nearly as much for offensive production as Jared and Bryce delivered one of their best games of the year. Chuma has been our best player over the last half of the season and today our backcourt picked him up and got the W when he was having an off day. We took every punch USCe could throw at us and kept counter punching until they finally couldn't stay on their feat. That is the mark of a great basketball team peaking at the right time. This was as bad of a match-up as we will face the rest of the year in terms of their style of play and we would not let them impose their garbage style of play on us. Refs did us no favors calling a foul every time we got close to Silva. Attacking relentlessly in transition was a huge key to this W.
This was clearly one of Jared's best games of the year. He took over the game in the second half and completely dictated the pace of play at times by grabbing rebounds and attacking at lightening pace. 27 points, 3/8 from deep, 12/14 at the line, 6 assists, 6 rebounds is an incredible line for a PG. Should have had 2 more points when he was fouled repeatedly at the end and the refs let it go as a TO. Incredible performance by J.
Bryce with his second great game of the tournament. Gave us 5 treys and 19 points. He's now 12 3s away from being #2 all time in the history of the SEC. Played great D all day with 2 steals and tons of pressure on the ball. Bryce is intent on taking this team on a legendary run that cements him as one of the greatest shooters ever in the SEC.
Samir with another nice game today. 10 points on 2/3 from deep. 5 boards and 3 steals. He has elevated his game to another level over the last 3 games. Samir playing like this drastically raises the team's overall ceiling.
Danjel delivered his second strong game in as many days. 2/2 from deep with 5 boards (2 offensive) 3 steals and an assist. Danjel has gone all in on his role with this team right now. Incredible to see a guy who was relegated to the bench 2 months ago delivering for us in March.
Austin only played a few mins today, but he looked good running the floor. Had a nice post move for a bucket and put a body on Silva on D. Having him healthy and available for some quality minutes on Sunday could be a huge factor if we face UT or UK.
Great team stats today. 18/21 from the charity stripe was a big number for us today. 38.2% from deep with 13 makes for the 2nd straight day. 10 steals and forced 18 total turnovers. Those are the marks of this team and why we are one of the most dangerous teams in the country. Great 3 point shooting and leading the country in turnover % is an incredible combination.
13 3s today puts us at 355 for the season. Ark's 95 team holds the all time SEC record at 361. Tomorrow, we can become the most prolific 3 point shooting team in conference history.
We got a huge break before we even stepped on the floor today with UF winning. That will move our earlier W over them into quad 1 as they were 32nd coming into today. Hopefully they are around 27th now so a loss to us tomorrow would leave them in Q1. From one of our worst match-ups today to an extremely good match-up tomorrow against the gators. They struggle to score and we have already seen that our offense works well still against their strong D when we dominated them at home. Take out the Gators tomorrow and we will have a shot to beat likely the Cats or Vols Sunday. Following up our regular season title last year by cutting down the nets in the tournament this year would be an incredible cap to an up and down conference season.
Well that last possession no call was utter nonsense but otherwise couldn’t be more pleased with this performance.
That sequence where Danjel hit a 3, Ho hit a 3, then Ho threw Samir to the ground securing a board was euphoric.
Hell of a write-up @DM8Most post game novella....

0 points, 1 steal, 1 turnover. If only we would sit J and let him have more minutes. But how did JVon do
LOLMy God, HARPER playing like a total badass! So happy for him. It is like a different player.
but if he had only had 6 points and 0 assists somebody ITT would be demanding that you mention him lmao0 points, 1 steal, 1 turnover. If only we would sit J and let him have more minutes.
Indeed. Glad to have you on the board! Excellent game threads and bball discussion here!but if he had only had 6 points and 0 assists somebody ITT would be demanding that you mention him lmao
If meat would talk downChuma, or ant, or McCormick with the same ferociousness that he does Harper then it would be cool. They sucked today but everyone has bad games. It happens. Rare for Jared but it does. As we all have been saying meat has been unfair, not completely wrong, with his criticisms of Jared for 2 years nowbut if he had only had 6 points and 0 assists somebody ITT would be demanding that you mention him lmao
Yea I was sad AF when there was no more @Denim Vest hoops analysis on the bunk. Then stumbled upon this glorious board with all the good posters. Brings a tear to my eye. I’m here to boog.Indeed. Glad to have you on the board! Excellent game threads and bball discussion here!

SBJ is the same badass he’s always been. FOH.
