I don't know who that guy is but he nailed the coverage of that scrimmage. Sorry y'all, i haven't been on here all weekend. It was a rough weekend for your boy and I only saw about 5 minutes of the scrimmage but I think I got a good feel for our guys. It was overall pretty sloppy from what little I saw and heard afterwards. Just from seeing our guys on the floor at the same time it's almost as if we have too many great athletes out there at the same time. The speed we play at is crazy. I really feel we will keep getting better though, we just have to stay under control and value possessions better. I've heard all summer and fall that Ant will shoot and make 3's this year. I didn't see him shoot but if that is true that's a huge mismatch especially if Austin remains eligible. Having Ant be able to hit open shots outside as well as be the athlete he is down low and then having Austin come in who won't take a shot all year outside a few feet but pound the glass the way he does willbe tough for anyone to defend. Malik is a freak. He looks like a football player and plays like it too. He's a little hesitant right now I think because we have thrown a lot at him in a short time but once the game starts slowing down and he stops thinking and starts reacting he can be one of the bigger playmakers on the team. He will bring the house down at least once a game. Staph is Staph. He's gonna score a lot. Chuma may be the best overall player on the team. He can score from anywhere and makes everything look easy. Desean is a beast downlow. He uses his body perfectly with everything he does. Jared and Davion will complement each other perfectly. IMO, we are still shooting too many outside shots. Possibly because Austin is out right now but I still think this team can be dominant downlow and only shoot 3's when it's wide open besides maybe Staph and Bryce. Overall I feel really good about our depth and our team. If we can find a way to keep everyone healthy and eligible we can be scary good. We have just the right amount of skill and toughness to be a scary team.
