OT: Boogs in the Raleigh not men’s softball Regional

I didn't see anything last night that should have led us to believe that getting the bat on the ball would be hard to do though.

If we were playing against their ace pitcher, I'd agree. They were pitching a freshman with an 11 ERA in conference play against us. Swing away.

I'm not gonna be like that dude on TBB that was genuinely mad about it. I get the play and why you do things.

I personally think 1st and 2nd no outs you should bunt almost every time. I'm actually more annoyed when we don't. We have too many double play/strikeout guys. Now if we had Jonathan India then I might feel differently.

I hear ya. The one with Wright last night didn’t bother me because he hit into a couple double plays earlier in the regional. Beyond that though, I’m with you. No need to take the bat out of the hands of a guy with pop who can’t beat out a bunt for a single.

I was a big fan of Julien bunting against the shift. Army played a big league pull shift on him, and he laid a beauty down the 3B line.
