Smart man. Once the pushing starts, don't break eye contact with the wife soldier. It is not safe to look until they give the baby to momma. Then you can make eye contact with mama or look at baby. Still do not look down below because they will be removing the placenta.

I grew up gutting deer and thought that prepared me. And it did for the blood and goo. It did not prepare me for the purple odd shaped alien head that came out of there. It's amazing how much they change within minutes of being born. I don't regret watching and the wife's vagina isn't that big anymore so that was refreshing.

Solid advice Twolips. Congrats @BigtimeAub it will be one of the best moments you will ever feel. Instantaneous love will flow through you and it's a great feeling. However you do not want to look at that ish. Us humans do not have a great birthing process and it will scar your mind. Make sure you tell doc to stitch it up too
