Welp imploded down the stretch and they couldn’t miss after that kiss from God.
Yeah we’re giving them way too many wide open looks. Shades of last year.
Sucks because our bigs played so well, just didn’t get much help from our guards today.
I'm so dejected that I can't work for the rest of the day (not that I've actually done anything today anyway). I guess I'm just going to have to find something on Netflix to watch until 4pm. Whole day is ruined now. Thanks BoogU.
I don’t feel the defensive performance was bad, you just couldn’t expect both teams to continue to shoot as poorly as they did in the first half.
In that wired clip BRUCE implored our youngsters to take away the 3. Didn’t listen in the 2nd half. Win some lose some but that’s one you’d like to have for a TORNEY resume.
yep... said when they make 9 three’s they win... they had 6 in the second half, most of them in the last 8 minutes, and finished 10-26
Frustrating. Can't give up 56 in the second half and win. Unfortunately I don't think temple is that good
man...there are going to be growing pains with these guys...tough going when you have your best guys sitting at home.

we shot the ball even worse than yesterday, but played a better team... disappointing, but not really concerning... not a good loss, but not a killer - and hopefully not a bad loss

I’m not a Bruce basher but you make it seem like good offense that leads to high percentage shots can’t be coached. When your style lends itself to jacking up 33 3’s, you’ll have some 25% days. I don’t love his offensive or defensive philosophy. I just love him.
Mac’s stat line is kind of deceptive. It’s all put backs, dunks, and 1 three. Guards were forced to shoot so much bc neither he or Horace have great interior offensive skills. If we had Wiley, they’d have able to throw it inside more instead of jacking up countless threes and hoping Mac and Desean gets rebounds and put backs
Absolutely can’t argue about HS and Macs skill sets. I just didn’t see is do that near enough with Wiley last season so I’m skeptical we would have today.
Lets be real gang, this loss is squarely on the rotten criminal Chuck Person. I'd still like to see BRUCE squeeze some better D out of these youngsters. At least they are rebounding. Not hard to lose ball games when you aren't hitting shots. Doesn't mean someone is a bad coach or the kids aren't trying.
I'm shocked we aren't going undefeated this season.
We play at 7 on Sunday.
Should come out of Charleston 2-1. Temple looks to be the only team that could give AU a problem.
Honestly think we beat that squad 5-6/10 times with our current squad. 8-9/10 with our full compliment of players. Need our jumpers to come around in a big way...
