OT: AU Hut Hut Squad

dude, he's gonna get drafted and pretty high imo

I guess we'll see. I'm generally on the side of guys that leave early and tend to think our fans downgrade players too much, lots of people hated on guys like Powers and Slayton and I was on the side of thinking they'd do pretty well (not THIS well for Slayton though). I guess I could be that idiot that is too low on an AU football player this time around.

I just don't see it with Coe. Every question about him entering 2019 went wrong. He needed to add moves and not be a bull rush only guy...he completely failed there. Not only that but his bull rush looked half as effective as it had previously. He needs to be a 3-4 DE since he developed no edge rush type game, but he wasn't good when asked to do similar jobs for us this year.

I'd be fine with being wrong. Want the kid to make millions. Just don't see it and I'd be a bit miffed if my team took on a guy who regressed, didn't seem to care about the sport and looked disinterested while on a defense chalk full of dudes that played extremely hard.

He might. He needs an invite to the combine for that to happen and his numbers are way down this year. You never know with the NFL, sometimes they take guys on potential (which he had plenty) and sometimes they get put off by things. It sounds to me like he didn’t see eye to eye with the coaches this year and that can be a huge red flag. The way his post is worded it almost sounds like if he doesn’t get the draft grade he is looking for he might transfer somewhere else.

I mean, he was a preseason all american and a first rounder on preseason draft boards. Then he was completely moved out of position, listed as a LB on the depth chart, all to accommodate some other guys. He probably didn't have the best attitude, but he's a physical specimen who's had a great season (last year) and then the coaches did him no favors this year. I could easily still see him going in the top 3 rds

Noah Ig off the NFL. My stars we are going to be fuggin terrible next year.
damn. Sucks. I think I said before the year that he's a potential first rd pick. Doubt he is after this season, but my guess is that he'll sky rocket after the combine. Maybe into day one. The draft should be pretty fun this year for boog fans. More fun than next year's season at least.

Track speed, thick, physical corner and is a great open field tackler... he will go very high in the draft. Probably 2nd round

Yo just saw McShay has Noah Ig going 17th overall in the draft

that's technically Todd's "Big Board" and not a prediction of where he goes in the draft. But yeah, still pretty cool that the kid was an afterthought at WR and then just switched to corner and became a potential 1st round pick. I'll be curious to see if any of the other guys in the secondary get drafted.

I don’t know whether it’s just my incorrect view, but I never viewed him in the same light as Carlton Davis or Jamal Dean. Always thought he was more of a middle round guy, but then again I do think he will have really good combine numbers. He’ll probably make me look like a dumbass.

There’s a clever tweet that I haven’t pieced together about how long before he is accusing Gus of meddling with the offense or calling the “bad plays.”
If auburn does win the west, it'll have nothing to do with Auburn having "something about them" and everything to do with LSU not replacing Joe Burrow, Bama not replacing Tua, and UGA sucking without Jake Fromm

am i crazy to really like LSU so late in the season? It makes November soooo important and if all three of Bama LSU and Auburn are neck and neck it will be so much fun.

It should at least keep the boogs hopes alive a little later in the season even after one or two vintage Gus stinkers.

Not if we lose to UGA the week we would have lost to LSU, though I will say that there has been lots of years that I wished we got UGA earlier.

A loss to LSU is more likely to eliminate us from the West race than a loss to UGA. The only reason I like UGA in November is for nostalgic reasons with it usually being a colder weather game.
