** #3 HYG: Danjel Purifoy **

It’s now or never for this veteran boog. What a ride it’s been. Ups and downs but mostly downs. How this child is still on the Plains I have no idea but the breakout potential is there.

An NBA frame and J seemed destined for the league early in his FR campaign. Then an ankle injury and some other unmentionable activity derailed his career for 2+ years.

Showed some flashes late last season and appears to be taking his Sr season seriously. Getting in shape and putting the time in the gym. Such a wild card and I have my doubts but Danjel having the season he’s capable of could put this squad right in the mix for another final 4 run.

If I were to have a son and he were to be a huge fvck up, I imagine I would love him the same way I love Danjel. Like I shouldn't love Danjel as much as I do. I shouldn't have as high of hopes as I do, but I do. This is just how it is with our boog children that Bruce delivers us.

definitely a weird career path. He is a streaky and emotional so getting off to a good start and making him believe will be key. We should probably take odds as to exactly what him or his mom will do to show they still don't give a frick

we’ve laughed... we’ve cried... we’ve fought slackjawed know-nothings on the internet who have shat upon young Danjel since 2 bouts of early foul trouble in his freshman season completely changed the way he was asked to defend, then that rotten, good for nothing Saiz from Ole Miss derailed his entire career

it’s been years of wandering in the wilderness, but alas - here we are... with 5 months left to savor the rewards we are all about to reap
