*** Boogs v Dayton ***

what tf happened to Dayton? Archie Miller is rolling over in his grave
I hope you take this with all of the offense with which it is intended... but you have zero clue what you’re even watching
yeah I’m sure I don’t. They make four passes in a half court offense and someone is wide open. It’s happened every game this season. If teams can slow the game down and play half court sets all night we can’t consistently play good defense.

Thank god they have 9 practically unforced TOs already

Defense relaxed after that run mid way through the half. Looked a lot better the last ten minutes or so. Better moving and helping out down low. Chuma is a studmuffin.

I’d be fine if we can get a dub however we can get it but just look kinda blah. Should smoke this team.

Listen, guys. I’m not trying to delittle Horace and Desean. Really, I’m not. We’re going to need them especially if we don’t get Austin and Daniel back soon, but there’s something wrong with this picture.

Also Malik is kinda ungood. No idea what he’s good at.

Welp solid win. Much to improve on but that was one I had pegged as a probable L preseason. Dayton obviously not their usual.

Dunbar reminds me of 20 guys we had on the roster pre-Bruce. Good looking athlete, not good at most basketball things at this level. He's gonna be the guy that gets stuck with almost no minutes if we get Wiley and Danjel back. Just don't see where he fits.

Murray looked like he was just off tonight offensively. That's gonna happen. He's been really good for the most part IMO.

We didn't shoot it very well tonight, but honestly I don't remember shooting it very well vs an Anthony Grant team very often. Feel like that dude just makes every game ugly. That's his goal in life....ugly, terrible hoops.

MACKSALAKAAA is just humiliating people and I love it.

Solid win on the road while obviously not playing our best. I'll take it and move on. Just want to get Wiley on the floor before SEC play starts for a couple of games. Would get him primed for league play.

Yeah I was hoping Malik would turn himself into a legit defensive stopper. We haven’t had that guy yet under Bruce and desperately need him, IMO. Never had very high hopes for his offensive game.

Dunbar seems ok if he can get the ball close to the bucket and make a 1 dribble bully move. Too slow, poor handle and not a great shooter. He’s a nice 11th man.

I think MACK and CHUMA and MUSTAPHA are gonna be more than enough to to lead us to a solid season. We have enough other pieces to pair with them to beat some good SEC teams IMO.

Harper is a key IMO. He's not going to be our best player or leading scorer, but we really need him to be the guy that runs things and makes great decisions. I thought he had been really good for the most part, but was a bit scared by him last night. Too many flashes of last year with bad 3's off the dribble and forcing stuff.

Good Harper + Stapha + Shaklamac + Chuma + Wiley and the other good pieces = really fun season with postseason likely

Bad Harper and I'm not sure those guys can do enough to pull us up. Your PG has to be effective and can't be a net negative.

Agreed. When Harper plays PG and actually tries to be the facilitator he does a really good job IMO. When he wants to be a shooter, it can be a disaster. We have better shooters, drive and dish and get the ball to our scorers and Harper will be a huge asset to this squad. Dude plays good enough defense too IMO
