Hope this means extended late mins for Patty K and Wunwun.

if we throw a Chalk Outline (I’m workshopping it, roll it around a bit and see how it fits you) on the preeminent hoops program in the country during a White Out The Clam night, I’m going to weep openly in front of whatever Valentine tinderella I sweep off her feet this afternoon

When Kentucky wins this game tonight, can I call of you boys my bitch?

If Boogs win, I'll let you call me bitch.

That's fair, and don't say otherwise. I want a good clean fight, no eye poking or biting. I feel like my Cats have a chance tonight. Of course, it could go off the rails I guess.
No need for name calling either way, iyam. We're much more sophisticated than that here as we're all Gregonians at heart. But you're more than welcome to stay as long as you'd please, or just call on us when you need a little light in your dark and dreary UK bball world.

If y’all can make some shots from 3, y’all have a good chance. To me, that’s the key to this game. If you struggle from outside, it will allow us to put more focus on your interior offense. We’re going to pressure high with the guards, try to prevent the drive, and front your post guys to try to keep the bal out of their hands in good position. If you guys make a few 3s early, it will change how we defend you and could open us up on the interior, which is where we’re most vulnerable. I think we will play some 1-3-1 and probably show a zone press at times to control your ability to get out on the run.

Similarly, y’all have to take away our 3 and force us into contested shots inside the perimeter. I’ve seen talk on both sides about transition and who that benefits the most. So I think that could be a wash.

agreed for the most part - but when a team beats us in transition and at a fast pace for 40 minutes I’ll believe it when I see it... last year we liked playing fast but when another team sped us up beyond our comfort and seduced us into mistakes it got ugly... this year, the faster the game gets the harder we boog

as many 3s as we shoot and as hard as we crash the offensive glass we don’t give up nearly as many transition buckets as we should... we give up a few a half - but for the most part we bust our asses getting back on defense and force teams to either back it out and run their offense, or settle for a bad shot - both of which just let us run it right back at them...

I pray that teams try to run with us

Nice, thourough thought here. I agree for the most part. I believe we'll come out ready to play, I just don't know that we can make shots period. If we can get Green and Knox to hit a few, could be a good sign. Let's see what happens but I like your analysis.

See AU Basketball 2016-2017. These yungins are just lost without a true leader.

Would rather you start a thread on RR with the title “Auburn is a new blue blood”

Now that you're a fellow Gregger and view things with a slightly broader view, do you think the UK fans have a harder time with the "blue blood" term being thrown around by others because their team color is blue, or that they're just elitist that are upset when a relatively unsuccessful program's fans appropriate the term in order to rustle members of the establishment?

I can’t believe 90% of RR thinks we’re serious about that. They are Rice stupid.

I can't explain how we feel about basketball in Kentucky. You have to grow up in it to understand it. One thing for sure, we aren't stupid. Well, there are some who are, but that's true of every fan base. Most know you guys are just having fun; but we do take roundball so seriously it becomes comical at points. Most of the triggered responses you see stem from the fact that we aren't performing this season.
