Yeah I don’t have a problem with the call if it’s made with 10 minutes left. It’s a fuggin joke in that situation.
Terrible way to lose. Refs decided the game and not the players. That's the biggest issue I have with college bball.
College refs are bad in general, but I never see the level of officiating we have in this confence when I watch other conferences.
The whistle happy ref in my church league wouldn't have made that call.

Didn’t watch a second of it but assumed we lost bc it was a NSD disappointment.

This is all payback for our fans running on to the field after the Alabama game
I’m pissed. There’s literally one rule in basketball officiating, and that’s swallow your whistle at the end of the game.
Real talk it was still a positive game all things considered. They shoot unbelievably higher than normal for a half, we lose our best shooter for half the game, the refs absolutely sucked dick, yet we still came back from a big deficit and had a chance to win.
If in doubt, make the call for the team who needs help with their tourney resume...it's the $EC way.
Doesn't hurt you guys but it's huge for A&M. Seeding this year is going to be interesting...all about the matchup's.
This game will be good for Boogs in he long haul (game, not loss). We haven't played that type of team & could have won it without the SECPOTY, but we didn't. Its's Bassetball, and one loss isn't a big deal like football. The heart of this team will make them dig even deeper, and I have no doubt they will persevere. Proud of them Boogs (even capitalizing Boogs now).

Davion - 16 mins, 0 FGA, 4 turnovers... and one defensive possession where a 30% shooter with 1 ACL pumpfaked him out of the gym for an easy bucket
those stick out like sore thumbs
even still... no Bryce in the 2nd, got big boy’d most of the night, and we missed 4-5 wide open looks from 3...
they took full advantage of every weakness we already knew we had, yet if you run that game again and give both teams the exact same shots I like our chances... we’re flawed, but not so much so that we’re hopeless when we run into a similar sized squad in the tourney

Plus they hit 9 threes the total game but 7 were in the first half. That’s just bad luck. They won’t shoot like that again in another game.
Let’s give aTm credit. They have some ballers and didn’t lose composure, but the refs gave them the game.

for the record i heart Mac, but he's been in a funk lately and the team really needed him to step up last night.
He just looked depressed last night. Something isn’t right with that guy. He was light years from being his normal, happy, bouncy self. I mean, he looked sad even before the game started. Was just weird. Had no energy at all.
