Boogs v Texas A&M

If you get there early enough, you can get a spot near the exits in the student parking like Seaborn said so leaving won't be such a pain. But I don't know how early it would take to get one of those.
Are you going to be there? This is my first game since we've become a basketball school, but based on internet reports over the past couple of weeks, the fans still aren't showing up all that early. So, I imagine you wouldn't need to be any more than an hour early or so. However, I was at Nichols Center last night from 6:30 to 8. Still lots of traffic and the lot @seaborn56 recommended was at least half full the entire time, and that was without a sporting event taking place. But I do believe something was going on in BEMC because that lot was completely packed out. Basically, what I'm realizing the more I type and what I'm really getting at is, I honestly have no idea what is going on on campus anymore and can't be relied on to pass along reliable intel. Sorry for wasting everyone's time with this post, @Van Gorstache. I just didn't want to delete what I had typed because a stoopid copy would just sit here in the message field and mess me up the next time I try to reply to this thread.

Yeah, a friend just texted me and said he had a ticket for me if I wanted it. Since I'm coming from our neighborhood, I usually always park in that Foy parking area about 25-30 minutes before the game and walk from there. Just like not having to deal with all the traffic when the game is over. It's a longer walk, but as long as it isn't pouring down rain or freezing cold, I don't mind.

Reading that TexAgs board has me fired up for this game. They haven't really said anything out of line. I'm just ready to see how we play against a team built almost 180* different from us. I think it's a great test and a big time prove it game for our boogs.

Any parking tips for the Clam? Been a couple years since my last hoops game and I had a parking pass that time.

Go have drinks before the game in town somewhere and call a taxi. They will drop you at the door. Not sure that they let Uber drivers do that. They should but I can’t verify.

Taxi to scholarship entrance?

Got the ags by six in this one. They’ll be more motivated than us and I think that’s the difference. Tough to beat a really good team when their back is against the wall and you have a target on yours. They need a signature win in the worst way and they get it tonight. Wouldn’t be the worst thing that could happen at this point, honestly.

Edit to say that I’ll still be boogin my little heart out regardless.

Why will they be more motivated than us?

I agree they need the win and this will be tough game.

Very logical....but I’d rather it happen on the road. We have such a tough stretch ahead that it’s going to happen. It’s not going to hurt us unless we string several L’s together consecutively. Hopefully we’re too good for that.

Because they need the win in the worst way to have a chance at making the tourney and there were flashes of us getting a little too big for our britches against Vandy. Just the perfect storm.

I mean, I’d rather it not happen at all, but I think we all know that’s a little too much to ask.

I just texted Bruce with your SAD prediction. Team is now motivated. Boogs by 12.

How important is Auburn basketball to me nowadays? I just dropped off the 6 month old and the 3 year old at the grandparents house to spend the night. Diddy can't be distracted when his beloved boogs are on. I also sent the wife to church by herself. She asked me if I needed to put anone on the prayer request and I said, "yeah, put Billy Kennedy on the list. He's gonna need God after Bruce gets done with his ass".
