****** Boogs vs Washington Game Thread ******

They always delete stuff that they know about but are probably told to keep on the down low. Not really a surprise. Just like when they knew Sean White was injured before the Vandy game two years ago and squashed all the rumors about it

You mean the game he played in after the half? That wasn’t injury related. That was weed in a bad spot related.

we're getting off subject here but his shoulder was clearly fugged. Coulda been a mix of both but he definitely wasn't 100%

Nah, that was injury related. That was the beginning of the end of SW’s career. His shoulder was and still is fvcked. IMO it’s why he never transferred anywhere and tried to play again.

He had shoulder issues going back to HS. Hurt it in 2015 at Auburn. Hurt it again in 2016. And the amount of steroid shots he took over that period from HS through his last season caused some other damage.

Gus is stupid and paranoid, but at the same time letting our opponent know our best returning corner is going to be out is beyond stupid. This is the bad part about inter-netting.

He also got busted that week. For the 4th or 5th time.

No real surprises except maybe Nick Coe starting at Buck but I’m happy about that. He’s too good to keep off the field

I heard Coach Dye on the radio yesterday and he said he was worried about the center spot. It doesn't sound like Kim will be there once Nick gets healthy.

Always been a big Brahms fan. Would love to see him take over when healthy.

I hope he is right, although I don't put a lot of stock in Jarett's opinions. He seems like a very optimistic nice kid to me. The kind of guy that tells everyone of his friends' moms, "Geez, Mrs. ________, this is the best [meatloaf, porkchop, blowjob, chicken pot pie, etc.] that I've ever had." NTTIAWWT

This sort of goes with what I’m about to say but the youngster has no swag appeal for me. I mean sure I want an electrifying dual threat stud that will lower his shoulder on some hapless DB then drag his nuts about his face on the way back to the huddle.

I don’t know I just can’t get fired up about the young buck maybe I’m getting old and I’m sure Gus has a lot to do with it. Like the Brandon Cox years yawn.

What’s up with us offering gat damned scholarships to punters that aren’t able to beat out the walk-ons already on campus?

LolGus.

I don't have any issue with Spiross being on scholarship, even if he didn't win the job (yet).

But blows my mind that Shannon is still on scholarship.

I read it more that Gus didn't want to throw Siposs out there in a massive game for his first ever college experience. I'd think Siposs wins the job over by week 3 or so

Don’t think crowd size or pressure is too big a deal for a 23 year old that’s been playing pro rugby in front of big crowds. Probably just has never played football and is still getting used to punting a ball/receiving long snaps etc
