I booked a couple of flights to Dallas on a whim today for a 5 day vaca on Labor Day weekend. Been there several times including the Cotton Bowl, but never actually toured the city. Getting in early Thursday & going to see the Cowboys that night in a preseason game against the Bucs (Jerry World-CHECK) . Then taking the wife to Waco on Friday to see some kind of HGTV deal down there. Gonna do the JFK thingy that I hear is the bomb, but need recs on what to do Saturday & Sunday nights.
EDIT: Not even sure why I picked this thread for this.....
That’s seriously pretty much every weekend, or at least the Saturday part held trueSaturday - Sects
Sunday - naps
Yore Welcome
That was actually a very good piece of work & it might get me off square a bit. Also looks like Rob’s little brother could still strap it on (maybe a kicker or something).here this again 2019 version:
He’s a Mavs fan I believe@jeramye, are you a Dallas guy? Seems like a poster I paid attention to on tbb was from there and I’m trying to make it you?

Lived there for a few years. I don't think I'm the one you are thinking about though. There was a really good, knowledgable guy that posted from Dallas for a bit and he had some info on closed practices etc.@jeramye, are you a Dallas guy? I'll second Bob's Chop House for steak. Went a couple of years back and it was one of the best I've eaten.Lived there for a few years. I don't think I'm the one you are thinking about though. Can't remember his handle either
My Dallas recs are all gonna be kinda dated. By far the best BBQ in town is Pecan Lodge it's freaking unreal. Bob's is great steak. Fireside Pies is great pizza. If you or the misses likes to buy high end apparel go to Stanley Korshak.
I've got so much Gus PTSD that when I see a media member spouting positive AU projections I get as angry as the average dumb fan gets when they see one of their rivals getting positive preseason pub.
Something might be wrong with me
16 seems fair. Would absolutely be top 10 if we had an established qb. Hopefully young joey sets the world on fire here in just a few weeks
I had high hopes for Daquan Newkirk but it sounds like the dude has a real struggle with his Achilles
What? Did you watch the spring game? Gatewood looked more than competent enough throwing the ballNix owned this summer and was lights out yesterday. Meanwhile Joey can’t throw a spiral but he’s our champion.
Auburn football fans in a nutshell.

Even if you think Nix will end up being better, you’re crazy to want to send him out in Gus’s offense with our OL.
The threshold to save Gus job is 6-8 wins.
I guess the only thing it fixed is not ending seasons with two huge away games

Sure glad we got UGA moved! That’s funny as hell.
Also, people who are looking for a reason to stop spending 1000’s on football tickets should be motivated by this.
I’d rather have what we’ve had with a cupcake between them so I had two weeks to get ready for Bama every year. If this adjusts down the road to having a cupcake between the two then it would be great. And maybe this isn’t always going to be LSU in that spot?
Anyway, the initial thought just made me laugh. I bet TBB is choking on REC stories right now.
