i guess they have to trade him right? His value will never be higher and Wentz was playing like an mvp before his injury

He has 1 year left on his deal, I think. If you can get anything for him you could trade him but I feel like he’s worth a lot more backing up Wentz for a year than the draft pick you can get, unless its a first rounder.

Yeah, depends on what they can get for him. It's still going to be Wentz's team, but unless they get a great offer, he probably holds more value as the backup than trading him for something other than a great playmaker or really high draft pick.

It is a shame really. Foles played amazing last night. I agree with you guys. If they can’t get some amazing deal, keep him.

Trade him to Cleveland for the 4th overall pick. Might even pick up the #1 overall if Cleveland decides to Cleve.

If you get any good offer you take it. If you get the #4 pick you take it and you laugh for a month and then you start celebrating and laugh more.

I don't think he'll be in Philly by the end of next season. I would bet someone will either want him this offseason and make move for hi (trade + signing a longer deal) or someone will lose their starter and be a playoff caliber club and come calling. That probably is the situation where Philly gets the best offer.

We're just gonna keep selling QB's to clubs that need them and getting draft picks. The Sam Bradford experience all over again.

JMO, but I'd think you'd give him a little say so in it all. Also does anyone here know or remember where Bledsoe was in his career when he took the place of Brady? Was thinking of that on the way to work this morning.
And I agree with keeping him if that's what he wants. Just gotta keep everybody HAPPY HAPPY

I actually think this will be part of the process. The HC recruited him back to Philly. They have a great relationship. But you can't keep him if someone makes a dumb offer either. That would be too much loyalty for pro sports.

His story kinda reminds me of Kurt Warner, except Warner was actually out of football & bagging groceries. Nick wasn't out, but was close. Then he has that Brady story line to go along with it. Journey Man in college as well.

Yeah I don’t think you just dump him. He helped win a Super Bowl. Plus, Wentz might not be ready for the start of the season. So it would take a good offer to unload him.

I don't think with 1 year left on his deal that anybody will offer a first round pick for him. I would be surprised at a 2nd round pick.

Foles is a known quantity who has had stretches of good. If you don't have a solid team around him he's a bit of a statue. I think he's a guy that will get a chance to lead a team again for sure but I don't think it will come at the expense of a huge draft pick by that team.
