What is the deal with the Vegas line on the game?

I have seen the Vegas Insider have it -2.5 uga and I have seen -1 AU on others.

Does anybody really think we keep it close or win? Seems like uga should win and do so without much trouble. What am I missing here?

I don’t think Uga is that great. They’re not gonna be able to run all over AU’s like they’ve done almost everything else. Fromm will make some plays but I doubt they score more than 24. Can Gus muster 24 on their D? It’s definitely possible. I’m actually expecting a Boog Win

All good points.. I don’t Stidham deals with pressure very good. If they are able to put consistent pressure like Clemson did this game will be ugly for AU. I think low scoring like last year.

Amazing how all of the boogs QB's have crumbled under pressure the last few years. Could it be because they have a single read passing game?

I don’t even want to try to pretend that I understand anything about the offensive philosophy or system. But I will say this, why have a single read passing game with an mostly immobile qb. That wouldn’t make much sense. I think Stidham is still very raw as a qb. And even if there is a single read, that doesn’t excuse Stidham pocket presence. He is probably one of the worst QBs I have ever seen navigate a pocket.

I’m sitting here watching my shitty Miami Dolphins and watching Jay Cutler at qb. Jay certainly has flaws but just watching him navigate the pocket it’s incredible. Jay is incredible at moving around a rush and stepping up, out, back or to the side just to buy an extra second. Truly remarkable. Stidham needs more reps and coaching!

I shouldn’t let this happen, but I do think we beat them. And then we unleash a Nick Marshall in 2014 game plan against the Tide where we just throw bomb after bomb to try and beat them

oh my...not sure if i'm more surprised at all the awbren picks or that Gus didn't fug up this past Saturday. Gus is gonna soul stomp sumbody on Saturday...who's it gonna be?

I still think we beat UGA too. I don't think their running game matches up well with our defense, and I think we score enough. If Swift takes a few screen passes in for 7, then we may get whipped, but if they rely on their running game we'll be in it the entire game. I think A&M beat us running the ball because they ran the read option. UGA can do that if they want, but we'll key on the RBs and Fromm won't get more than 5-7 yards...read option works a little bit better when the QB is a running threat. When UGA uses the read option near the goal line it does work though, hopefully we keep their asses away from the goal line though.

As for the bama game, we may try that gameplan, but NARSHALL gameplans don't tend to work without NARSHALL...

How many effin Amen corners does Gus have to fudge up before you guys lose hope going into the Ga game? AU going to be fighting Gus, Ga, and the refs. Potential payout of two SEC teams in the playoffs is on the line folks.
We gonna win this one bruh... Or I'm giving up on AUBURN forever

Well, probably til the Iron Bowl at least

I see this as your classic “jump out to an early lead then hold on for dear life as Gus Gusses” game.

We go up by 7-10 early, then lose by 10-14 due to an abysmal 2nd half offense and our inability to consistently stop their running game.

After our initial couple of successful drives, the rest of the game feels like UGA is in complete control and will eventually pull it out.

If you can navigate a pocket and have a big arm you can play for a long time, no matter how terrible your decision making or leadership is. Cutler is a great example. Eli too. Those are the reasons Jeff Garcia kept getting work.

Although I have zero faith in Gus not to Gus, I still felt a little glimmer of hope flash in to my brain when I saw Stidham hit some passes across the middle for big gains vs aTm. I'm just gonna go to the game Saturday with a win-win mindset, and not get too invested emotionally on the outcome. That being said, if we win, I'll probably be ALL IN at the Arn Bow.

Forgive me if I lack optimism.

I actually told someone that I thought we had a better chance if they jumped out to an early lead for this very reason.

@secfans - This is the first one I have had the time to watch all the way from the beginning. You guys hit so many things I have been saying all season. I enjoy this long version because I had some time to spare, but I wonder if you could also give a more condensed version for when I don't? I would probably watch more videos if they weren't 40+ minutes.
