Last year or 2016?

That mindset is going to win more than this one. Takes balls.Don’t know if y’all saw the quote but Kevin Steele basically said the reason he brought the house on 4th down was because if it failed horribly, it may would’ve given AU the ball back with more time on clock.
I thought only those of us that played Madden thought like that, thought it was funny hearing Steele say it
True but we got the ball back with a chance to win, which is factored into the risk. We just happened to have Sean White then unfortunatelyDid the same thing against Clemson a couple of years ago and it backfired spectacularly
It’s inexplicable we don’t have a couple stud RBs. And then you botch the crootment of an AA OT playing at bama.Post game thoughts: recruiting still matters.
The positions we’ve recruited well played well. And then there’s JBG’s handiwork on full display. Just not talented enough there. Period.
KMart isn’t the full-time answer at RB. Want to see more Asa Martin and Shaun Shivers. Boobie seems to have great potential but is kinda feeling his way right now.
We have two top 100 OTs on the roster and neither start. Two top 75 RBs too and one just got moved to DB. I don’t know what the deal is but I still think we’re fine at RB. Whitlow looks legit to meIt’s inexplicable we don’t have a couple stud RBs. And then you botch the crootment of an AA OT playing at bama.
The RBs were a bigger problem to my eye than the OL. Not that they were good but we werent getting blowed up in the backfield.
I continue to despise the HB position even though Chan Cox leaked out and got open for a couple timely grabs. I don’t see him ever do anything a more athletic kid couldn’t do even though he crushed a helpless DB that wasn’t looking one time.
The RZ continues to be a complete disaster. The TD run I’m thinking was more of a don’t fug it up a FG gets us the lead than a stroke of genius but I’ll take it. Kevin Steele and this D carried our $10M/ yr offensive corching braintrust to victry.

There was like 10:00 left in the game and it put them up 19-6True but we got the ball back with a chance to win, which is factored into the risk. We just happened to have Sean White then unfortunately
I was thinking of wrong situation, you’re rightThere was like 10:00 left in the game and it put them up 19-6
No. Down 13-6. Still a bad call on 3rd and goal from the 16 considering who was playing QB for ClemsonWere we up in that game?

Is it really that bad? I think both Kam and Boobie will wind up being good. But we’ll seeWhen was the last time the talent level was this low at the RB position at Auburn? I'm going to guess 1999.

2010-2012 were all bad with zero depth. 2016 was a total unknown too. I really don’t mind the RB depth this year. You could argue that it’s actually a strength. So deep that we’re able to move a Rivals 100 RB to the secondaryI'd say better than 99 but I can't think of a year since then where the talent level was this low.
I think the last part was desperation, if not that it was trying not to make another Trovon Reed mistake. I didn’t see an every down back like we’ve had in the past but maybe the next couple weeks or four will prove me wrong.2010-2012 were all bad with zero depth. 2016 was a total unknown too. It’s just a weird situation. They thought enough of Devan Barrett as a true frosh to get him carries and design plays for him, and now he’s not even good enough to be the 4th string RB? IDK. Makes me think they’re pretty confident in what they have in Boobie/Asa/KamI think the last part was desperation, if not that it was trying not to make another Trovon Reed mistake. And 10-2.Me: [walks past Jared and his gal]
Jarret’s Gal: [inaudible]
Jarret: Yeah, he’s handsome. And I guess your right. His penis is probably average to above average.
Me: [winks at Stidham’s gal]
Nothing Gus does will ever make sense to me. You may be accurate but I think it will take four games for all of us to see what we are going to do. It's Malik who didn't throw it. Still a terrible call.
I hated the call, but it was wide open
Guess we’ve identified rice on Twitter. Terrific.
Even if the backup HB was wide open which is debatable does anyone believe Malik even had the option to throw the ball? Would not surprise me if it was a run all the way but makes no difference play was DAF.Maybe all those passing reps Malik got last year prepared him to successfully complete the forward pass in that situation.
the thing is they probably didn't trust Malick to make that throw but then they later put in Chandler Cox on another 2pt converstion attempt and let him throw some dumbass playEven if the backup HB was wide open which is debatable does anyone believe Malik even had the option to throw the ball? I can’t believe a living human would ok both of those plays. This is a person that is presumably allowed to vote and drive a vehicle. Scary.the thing is they probably didn't trust Malick to make that throw but then they later put in Chandler Cox on another 2pt converstion attempt and let him throw some dumbass play

Thanks for being here.Seems more scary to me that someone would compare our right to vote to whether or not someone agrees with plays called in a college football game
These are the reasons people hate him. He goes and beats a top 5 team but he finds a way to make it look like AU wins in spite of him and not bc of him. Ultimately, he’s a good coach but he has an amazing way of instilling doubt in the fan baseI can’t believe a living human would ok both of those plays.
