Well gents we’ve been kicked in the dick repeatedly the last week and the excitement of hoops season has mostly been stolen from us. But this is BRUCE and the HYGs. I’ve been watching most of our shitass huthut contests so I’ll certainly be watching this squad as we build to another natty run next year.

Apparently young Al has been playing a little reserve point behind Powell and Turbo. I’m expecting to see a starting lineup tomorrow of:

Turbo
Jamal
Flanny
Jay Will
Stretch

I think Powell and Cambridge play more than Jamal though.

may not be able to watch live - I’ll save the replay for a late night Thanksgiving dessert... may even wake up early Friday and watch it hungover and roll right into the beatdown of Gonzaga

don’t even care about wins and losses at this point, just want to see enough spurts of Boogin’ to brighten this shitbag of a year and prove we’re on the right path for another championship next year

and if we wanna Boog these hideous circus freaks out of the gym, so be it

Bruce said he's gonna play 10 guys. Crazy depth even without sharife. Will be interesting to see who gets the lion's share of the PG duties. I'm guessing Turbo. Would love to see Powell, Cambridge, Jay Magic light it up from deep

Saw on twitter where the likely starting 5 is

Turbo
Flanny
Cambridge
Williams
Thor
Damn, Thor at the 5? I’m all for it.

I imagine we’re going to see a lot of zone D to help out in the paint if they have any big body guys down there.

In our offense, he can be such a mismatch for other teams at the 5 and still get the same types of touches that Chuma did at the high post. Between him and Jaylin at the high post, we should be able to effectively run half court sets and find advantageous match ups.

I can’t decide if Thor starting at the 5 proves how good he is or how little Bruce thinks of Stretch. I’m gonna pick the former

I think so and also maybe take some pressure off the PG having another stud with elite offensive skills out there.

Remember a game last year when all under class men were sent in to hold their on for a couple minutes in a tight game & they did quite well. Can’t remember if our faux senior was in the game or not, but I’m counting on this squad being better than that. Gonna have patience either way.

Thor is the most talented guy on the roster - Sharife included... he’s the best NBA prospect of the group, but he’s young... and skinny

hopefully he’s not as bashful as freshman Chuma, because we can’t afford for him to take a season and a half to assert himself

guessing Bruce is keeping this close til the half then the boys gonna go HAM
