thought cambridge had an average game but he was still 13 and 10. Still good for a few turnovers a game it appears. Chris Moore is impressive. Frankly everyone was impressive in some ways other than Jamaal. Like someone said earlier. Cardwell seems to have those austin wiley butter hands sometimes. But we lost 3 seniors in the front court, and I'd say we somehow massively improved our depth and talent in those spots
Down the stretch not so much, but it seemed to me we didn’t have that many brain dead situations/turnovers as even a few games last year. Yes I know this was a middle of the row opponent at the best, but I was gonna be tickled to death even if we lost. Inbound pressures & hustle of this team makes me proud they were rewarded with this Big W. I never thought I’d be this happy tonight. Just flipped on the Cowboys game so I could say I watched football on Thanksgiving lol.

Not gonna lie. I was a little low thinking we pissed away a win. I leave the room and get some stuff loaded in the car. I come back and we were in OT. I am sorry for ever doubting these HYG Bruce. Too many years as a Boog fan is my only defense.
Told y’all not to sleep on Boog Powell. Child looking like Tyler Hero. Full skill set and no fear. Still wish we had Rife, but the Chaulkshow is more than adequate at the point, especially with Turbo splitting time and playing better this year. Turbo looks like he slowed his motor a bit this year and playing under control.
Impressed with that win. It had everything you’d expect from a young team. The collapse in the late stages of the second half seemed so typical of a young team who hadn’t been through the fire yet. But to see those guys dog down and find a way to get it to OT and then win it in OT, that was impressive. It’s clearly not a finished product, but no one here expected that. Gonna be a fun one tomorrow.
Big for our guys to find a way to pull out this W. St Joes may not be any good, but these guys needed a confidence booster out of this trip. Blowing the lead and losing tonight coupled with a rough one tomorrow would have been a really tough way to start the year. Now, hopefully our guys come out tomorrow playing fast and loose with nothing to lose. Its a massive mismatch on paper, but we have athletes all over the place. If Williams and Powell play like they did today and Air Cambridge and/or someone else goes off, we could give them a game.

The way the guys answered whenever St Joes made a run was very impressive. It would have been very easy as a young team to fold and let them stretch out a lead whenever things weren't going our way for a few possessions. I think we saw late in the game today that this team is going to scrap and fight for Ws. We may not be great this year, especially without Cooper, but we will probably beat some teams we shouldn't and will be a very tough out for more experienced, polished teams on days when we are playing well.
Got tied up with thanksgiving activities 2nd half. Could still feel J Will’s aura eminating from the TV. Very much a boog hoops circa 2019-20 contest snatching that dub in an OT thriller.

I realize that team is projected to be in the bottom 3 of the A-10 by most but I felt we showed flashes of what could be a solid squad. If Shariffe was there to allow Powell to “rest” during some of his minutes and get more open looks we would be even more dangerous. I don’t think people would have been lining up to play us by post season regardless.
