Hadn't really been paying attention to the drama but I guess most of the teams are doing some sort of protest during the anthem today.
In general I agree but their TV #s have been taking a hit. Not many fans are gonna stop watching their teams but I think people aren't watching as many other games as they used to.It's just gonna make a lot of people write their opinions on Facebook and Twitter. No one will stop watching or quit supporting their team. Everyone will get over it.
I just don't think this will have a big impact on the league. I quit watching bc it became one giant indiscernible blob of teams. Every team is the same to me. And it's just way too slow and filled with commercials. In general I agree but their TV #s have been taking a hit. Excuse my ignorance but what the hell they protesting about now?Hadn't really been paying attention to the drama but I guess most of the teams are doing some sort of protest during the anthem today.

The politics aren't going to stop fans from being fans. The redskins drama ended and no one cares and their team is still the 3rd most valuable franchise in the league.
From what I could gather it's over Trumps comments this week. Something like wouldn't it be nice if they'd get fired over disrespecting the flag.Excuse my ignorance but what the hell they protesting about now?
President Butthurt said that any player that kneels during the national anthem should be fired. So they're all kneeling now. Probably some form of reverse psychology to get them all to kneel bc one of Donald's companies makes money off of dirty knee guardsExcuse my ignorance but what the hell they protesting about now?
It's just so wildly popular it can afford a hit. Joe NFL fan is definitely turned off by the politics of it. Not sure what that means in dollars.I just don't think this will have a big impact on the league. I quit watching bc it became one giant indiscernible blob of teams. Every team is the same to me. I take it you don't think it's disrespectful when someone sits or kneels for the national anthem? It doesn't bother me and I don't care what they do but if they were my employees they would stand or find another employerPresident Butthurt said that any player that kneels during the national anthem should be fired. I'm gonna refrain from getting too political on The Greg, but I disagree with a lot of thisI take it you don't think it's disrespectful when someone sits or kneels for the national anthem? It's a tricky one for the owners. I think the NBA has a rule everyone has to stand. NFL should do the same but probably has to be in the bargaining agreement.I take it you don't think it's disrespectful when someone sits or kneels for the national anthem? I disagree about the spoiled brats part. Most of these guys are no more than a few years removed from living at or near the poverty line, and they worked their asses off (yes football is very hard work) to get to the point where they have a platform to be heard. The President is a short sighted blow hard and the NFL players are spoiled brats.
Yeah he had. And unfortunately the taking a knee thing is no longer about the protest of injustice, it is now nothing more than a middle finger to Trump. I mean the entire Steelers team staying in the locker room will make headlines. But the story will be about them doing it I. disagreement with POTUS rather than the original causeBetween Trump's comments on the NFL and the Warriors this week, he's created a lot of unnecessary drama IMO.

I imagine a lot of them have been on the wrong side of some profiling in their younger days, but now since they've got some money and a voice that will be heard they need to shut up? Nah
Zero Fox. They're payed millions to play a game. Shut the fugg up and quit embarrassing your employer.I disagree about the spoiled brats part. Oh it's definitely bad for bidness. Just look at Kap. No he's not a top QB talent, but I believe he would have a job if it weren't for all the drama that comes with him. Sure it's absolutely their right to express their feelings about things, but that doesn't mean everyone sitting in the NFL teams main offices agree with it.I think Trump could be a lot more diplomatic but I can see why he's annoyed people making up outlandish reasons to disrespect the presidency.
The whole thing started with Kaepernick and he's made what $50 mil or so? I think it's definitively bad for business all the protesting but it's their right I guess.
Yes this is definitely what a president is elected to do. Wonderful job. A+.All I know is everyone turns their heads when the Donald says something. He sets the discussion topic for the nation and tells us to talk amongst ourselves. I get a laugh every time it works.
Must be so the owners who issued statements saying the president is a dipshit.Which employers are embarrassed?
How is it bad for business for anyone but Kaepernick?Oh it's definitely bad for bidness. Just look at Kap.
Figure heads since George Senior. Really wish we'd do away with the position but constitution says it's a mustYes this is definitely what a president is elected to do. Wonderful job. A+.
