Mizzou was founded in 1839 as the first pubic institution of higher education west of the Mississippi River. In 2017, their enrollment was ~30,870. They claim they founded the "Homecoming" game in football back in 1911. The campus is 1,262 acres (2 sq miles). They moved to the SEC in 2012, previously of the Big 12.
Also, they are currently 19-6 in baseball this year, with a 3-3 conference record (lost 2 of 3 at LSU and won 2 of 3 against MSU).
