Well gentleman, and ladies, as we all know this thing we call civilization could go up in flames at a moments notice. If Russia/China were to shutoff power/water (which they can completely do, as we can do to them) then it would take about 3 days for everything to break down and us begin to slowly re-enter the dark ages.

In preparation for this simple fact, we've slowly been selling off all the shit we don't need and getting ourselves mobile, agile, and hostile. The most recent acquisition is Lurlene. She's a 1971 Ledgerwood, right at 21'. She needs a little love, but don't we all? When we're done with here she'll be the mobile command center that everyone should own.

And yes, that is a broom holding the door closed. The previous owner lost the damned key, gonna fix that today and rewire all the brake/turn lights. Driving her home with no lights was an adventure.

My evil plan is coming to fruiting. The wife pulled it last night and said it was underpowered. I had to agree and showed her the supercharger/7th fuel injector info I'd been sitting on for a few months just biding my time...bwahahaha...

I have come to grips with the fact that I will probably die within a week if that happens
We have 80 acres with running water and are slowly building in some solar and water generation. Do you have any skills/resources you can barter for entry when the time comes? I'm an Eagle Scout and Red Cross Certified Lifeguard (retired) if that helps any.

Those poor farmers will get murdered within minutes of an apocalypse
No, no, you're doing it all wrong. You either force them to become indentured servants or you invite them in under your protection in a cooperative community. No real in between.

I'm first aid and cpr trained and I am willing to murder your enemies and/or neighbors for supplies.

I would be great at deciding who should be allowed to survive and who should be exterminated

We still have a Sgt. at Arms position open, sounds like you might be in. We seem to both be very much in the Israeli though process on this in that you have to surgically and precisely kill off your enemies before they can inflict real harm on you.

I just read an incredible book on the subject. If we were choosing teams on the playground right now, I'd go Israel QB, Jordan WR, and I'd have Poland at Flex.

Do I really want to live long in that world? Not sure. Maybe just go nuts for a couple of weeks and then give in. I'm too lazy to do the legwork to get ready for it and also to grind through it all. I'll just go down in a machete fight or something

Read (re-read) The Beach. It'll inspire you, one way or the other...

Person standing by the RV looks to be strait out of Season 1 or Season 3 True Detective. Plays with green paint for sure. Prayers to OP.
